About the role
Primarily responsible for order management, the receiving of all incoming materials, Inventory management, physical stores organisation, stock issue and control.
Coordination, management and improvement of GI Booking in process
Receipt/Return of materials including intercompany
Ensure Intercompany transactions are processed end to end
Ensure recording of incoming materials on day received – OTIF
Daily Substrate feed to operations
Materials returns to suppliers
Materials transfer to warehouse - support location of materials
Materials transfer between sites
ERP system maintenance ensuring data accuracy
Monitoring orders placed through to suppliers committed delivery date.
Safe storage of all materials and products received.
Manual handling of hazardous materials/substances
Perform monthly stock checks on all stores to ensure correct count.
Continuous Improvements Projects – standardisation across group.
Process SOP (Standard operating procedures) generation
Generate and maintain visual workplace standards.
Adhere to all internal safety, HR, environmental and quality guidelines and procedures.
Support other Materials and Logistics activities as and when required
About you
Good standard of education
Similar experience in a high-volume manufacturing company
Competent IT skills
Driver’s License
Hazardous good handling awareness
Forklift license
ADT trained is desirable
COMAH awareness would be desirable
