- Position requires certification per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and its supplements necessary to obtain a Contracting Officer Warrant, authorizing signature and the full range of responsibilities that accompany contracting officer duties.
- Manages extensive contact between personnel and customers relating to changes in policies/regulations as changes occur.
- Evaluates overall performance of employees to identify developmental or training needs required to perform the duties of the job assigned.
- Implements a quality assurance process for monitoring accuracy of pre/post contracting actions.
- Advise Customers/Management/Command regarding contracting/procurement policy issues.
