Experience of a Night Warehouse Operative

• Ideally worked in a warehouse before using a PPT, LLOP or RF Scanners
• Order picking
• Physical work
• Loading and unloading - Stacking goods on a pallet
• Logistics distribution and supply chain background an advantage

Working nights from 6pm start for a 11 or 12 hour shift - plenty of hours of work

Working any 5 from 7 - from Monday to Sunday - Nights only - will possibly increase to 6 shifts per week during peak and does include weekends

Duties of a Warehouse Operations Supervisor

• Working in the Distribution centre
• Coordinating the work of all the operatives
• Internet orders / Picking / Packing /Replenishment and goods in
• Managing upto 40 staff
• Monitoring delivery times (next day) and SLA's
• Motivating Staff
• Training and developing staff

Experience required for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Previous warehouse / DC knowledge within Ecommerce. next day delivery

• Ideally with 1 years minimum experience of management or supervisory skills
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
• Good communication skills
• Proven track record of managing high performing teams
• Trained in first aid, fire Marshall, IOSH or Mental Health an advantage
• Worked in logistics distribution and supply chain

Duties of a Buyer

Responsible for the the procurement and management of inventory in a cost effective and timely manner

• Build and maintain supplier relationships
• Ensure the best decisions are made for the business
• Manage the demand report on a daily basis
• Negotiate cost reductions

Experience required for the Buyer position

Demonstrate work examples of the above, have the ability to influence buying decisions to guarantee preferred terms with regards to quality, cost and delivery

The chosen candidate must have previous experience working within a Warehouse.

Details of a Warehouse Operative based in Tamworth:

• Monday to Friday 3pm till 11.30pm
