As an Catering & Event Sales Manager, you’ll sell activities and events (seminars, weddings, social dinners etc..) in line with annual sales and marketing plan, achieve/exceed budget and sales strategy and monitor results to ensure they are achieved. You will be solely in charge of hunting for leads and converting them for our hotel’s very first food truck business.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
People
- Maintain regular contact with IHG hotels in Singapore and regional reservation office
- Assist superior in managing all employee related matters such as recruiting, counselling and coaching
- Build rapport and strong relations with employees
Guest Experience
- Entertain clients and provide proper customer service
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, business generators, meeting and convention planners, corporate accounts and other producers closely allied to our hotel
- Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections
Financial
- Assist superior in the preparation and management of department’s budget including monitoring of departmental costs and inputting into annual budget and sales and marketing plan
- Convert leads to business to achieve budget for Catering Sales and Food Truck
What do we need from you?
Ideally you have at least 2 years of experience managing Catering & Event Sales. You have at least a Diploma qualification and is a self driven individual who has strong knowledge of the local business.
