The following are the duties of this position at the GS-12. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position.

• Conduct complex and sensitive public trust and national security adjudications of background investigations; employee and contractor misconduct investigations; worker's compensation fraud investigations; TOIG referral investigations; and other special administrative investigations or investigative inquiries that may lead to criminal investigations requiring referral to the TOIG.
• Conduct extensive research and analysis of applicable laws and regulations as well as other materials such as operating manuals, union contracts, etc.
• Prepare factual and analytical adjudicative reports, identify, address, and evaluate issues in the investigation relevant to the adjudication. Initiate and develop additional investigations arising from the original assignment. Provide a final written adjudicative summary report of investigative findings and determinations.
• Conduct complex, comprehensive, and sensitive adjudications.
• Review, evaluate, and adjudicate reports of investigation, personnel security files, and other records to assess the reliability, loyalty, suitability, and trustworthiness of employees and contractors in sensitive and non-sensitive positions or access to classified information, resources, and material which could adversely affect the national security, public welfare, or the efficiency of the Federal service.

As a LEAD AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTION SPECIALIST at the GS-1071-12 some of your typical work assignments may include:

• Provides direction and oversight on media production matters.
• Responsible for day-to-day planning and execution of live, field/remote, and studio produced television and audio-visual products, as assigned, created at DMA.
• Directs and manages live and field produced television broadcasting/recording, studio and control room facilities and the associated equipment assets at a level equal to that of major networks in the commercial broadcast television industry.
• Manage operations and allocation and execution of funding IAW DMA and DoD policy.
• Manage large inventory records and utilizes asset management software and systems to maintain property control over inventory IAW industry, DoD policy, and DMA standards.
• Prepares procurement packages for the Production Services Division for television and audio-visual services and equipment.
• Develops, establishes and communicates performance standards; provides team members with the tools, training and authority they need to be successful in their jobs and holds them accountable for their performance.
• Understands, determines and oversees the transmissions and routes of live and pre-recorded products from source to destination.

As a LEAD AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTION SPECIALIST at the GS-1071-12 some of your typical work assignments may include:

• Demonstrate a broad knowledge of field artillery operations and fire support to write, edit and review and publish a variety of US Army Field Artillery manuals
• Perform independent as well as coordinated studies involving all aspects of Air Defense Field Artillery
• Participate in Army-wide activities and projects.
• Reviews all doctrinal and technical documents produced to correct grammatical and typographical errors, misspelled words, improve structure and enhance clarity of presentation. Verifies facts to resolve possible factual or technical errors.
• Advise the official representative or may represent USAFAS at conferences or working groups, decision meetings on.

• Prepare articles, infographics, photos and video products to tell the PHC, East, story, highlighting projects and programs, accomplishments, milestones, and special events to use in digital communications.
• Conduct live streams of events and ceremonies.
• Determine appropriateness of information for release by applying security, appropriateness, propriety and policy reviews.
• Advise command staff on public information matters related to social media content and provides advice on DOD and Army policies and procedures.
• Research new and innovative tools, programs, systems, software, services and industry trends in web and social media.
• Create engaging social media content to tell the PHC, East, and subordinate VRAs' story and communicate the commander's priorities on official PHC, East, social media platforms.
• Prepares articles, infographics, photos and video products to tell the PHC, East, story, highlighting projects and programs, accomplishments, milestones, and special events to use in digital communications.
