- Controls and maintains the life cycle management of assigned technical publications in the acquisition or sustainment commodity.
- Utilizes Information Technology (IT) such as Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) and eXtensible Markup Language (XML), as well as low-level IT such as Portable Document Format (PDF) and word processing to edit and manage electronic documents.
- Conducts verifications on equipment using target audience personnel.
- Reviews technical manual submissions and ensures completeness and accuracy before final acceptance from contractors.
- Manage publications to ensure MIL-STD compliance, initiate and complete publication changes or revisions, and conduct technical manual development and/or update processes required for authentication.
