We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Director to help us expand our clientele base in China. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Your job as a Business Development Director is to identify sales leads, pitch digital solutions to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts. This role revolves around good communication and cohesiveness working with co-workers who will be supporting this role.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Managing Director to develop new business opportunities in the China market
- Following up on new business opportunities and setting up meetings.
- Work towards meeting monthly sales targets.
- Planning and preparing proposals and presentations.
- Communicating new product developments to prospective clients.
- Providing management and team with feedback from the clients, agencies and the market.
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
- Promote the company’s products/ services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
- Prepare sales proposals and pitch to prospective clients and agencies, ensuring adherence to company policies as well as rules and guidelines.
- Diligently updating sales pipelines and projections.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree holders in the relevant field.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in Business Mandarin
- Knowledge of the media industry and experience in digital or advertising sales is a plus.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
- Thrives in a challenging environment.
- Independent and driven.
- Proven sales track record.
- Proven ability to negotiate.
- Basic Digital or Media Market knowledge.
- Communication and negotiation skills.
