We are currently looking for an exceptional Social Media Manager to join our clients team. Become a part of the go-to destination for wellbeing and self-care, and you will be a key cog within the growth and future aspirations of an already reputable business.

The Key Duties of the Social Media Manager

• Developing and implementing a social commerce strategy aligned to our overall business strategy and continuously improving the performance across all key metrics (reach, engagement and sales)
• To produce a range of social content for both our online shop and clinic, aligned to our brand guidelines, including:
• Producing social content to support tactical campaigns and key trading events including Black Friday etc.
• Developing social media content to support new brand and product launch campaigns.
• Creating educational social content to support the launch of key online initiatives.
• Creating community-driven social content that is specifically targeted to certain audiences and channels to attract new customers.
• Scheduling all content for both online shop and clinic across our existing social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn and Youtube and Pinterest.
• Working alongside our in-house Paid Social team to produce targeted and paid-specific social content to support campaigns.
• Researching, identifying and developing ongoing relationships with new social influencers and brand ambassadors to work with.
• Creating social media content briefs for all planned paid influencer activity across all channels.
• Contributing to new social media content ideas in monthly and quarterly planning sessions.
• Providing monthly social media reporting across all channels to the wider management team.
• Managing social media coverage during key offline company activities including influencer events, photoshoots, and PR launches.
• Launching and cultivating our community programme, through turning existing customers into brand advocates which provide ongoing support and guidance
• Working alongside our brand partners to provide input and strategy for all affiliated social activity.

The Key Requirements of the Social Media Manager

• Experience in a Social Media Manager role
• Experience in growing followers, engagement and sales from multiple social media channels; Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Youtube, Pinterest
• Passionate about the world of beauty and self-care. and keeping up to date of changes within the industry

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a creative Social Media Manager to take ownership of social output for a number of global clients.

You will have a proven background (min. three years) in publishing or agency, and be comfortable concepting social ideas that get online communities fired up — particularly across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.

You will be working directly with clients, leading always-on activity from ideation to execution across both consumer and corporate worlds. So you’ll be a calm and capable communicator with a solutions-focused mentality.

The accounts we’re hiring for span a range of sectors, from automotive to sports. So you’ll ideally have a versatile range, and be comfortable across multiple verticals.

As part of the Editorial team, you’ll stay on top of trends and move at the speed of internet culture. You see yourself as a strong solo worker, but also the ultimate team player. We’re hard workers, big thinkers, care about the small stuff and like to have fun.

ROLE-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
The nature of We Are Social’s business requires a high level of flexibility and versatility. While the specific content of your role is clearly defined, the nature of the demands placed on us and the creativity of our campaigns means that the role will evolve over time and needs a ‘can do’ approach to picking projects up and making them happen.

We expect you to show confidence and competence in the key areas below:

• A keen interest in cultural and social trends
• A proven creative conceptor who’s confident in delivering planned and reactive assets, particularly across Instagram
• Capable of delivering clean copy in the correct tone of voice, ensuring it’s on-brand and always on-time
• Adept at finding the key insight/hook that will capture attention 
• Able to craft an inspiring and clear deck (in Google Slides) to present work
• Accountable for deadlines and thinking ahead, preempting any problems
• Confident dealing with clients and being able to collaborate respectively
• Be able to deal with feedback constructively and dispassionately
• Strong social platform knowledge across the major platforms, while curious about new platforms and developments
• Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills
• Being calm under pressure and with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in organic (and ideally) paid social media
• Manage, track, and report on performance, using learnings to optimize future creative opportunities

• Ability to assess key learnings from campaigns and incorporate them into your next work
• A knack for turning complex information or jargon into digestible consumer-friendly comms
