Marketing Senior Manager, Media – Inflammation (U.S. Remote)

In this vital role you will be responsible for leading the planning and implementation of all media and media partnerships, critical to commercial success of Otezla. The media lead will supervise consumer (DTC) and professionally targeted (HCP) media investments. Critical to the role will be developing and evangelizing an in-depth understanding of the core targets, and extensive knowledge of the DTC and HCP media landscapes, both traditional and emerging.

The Senior Manager of Media will partner heavily with internal and external cross-functional partners, lead and manage our media agencies. Note this position can sit remotely from anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the development and implementation of innovative, powerful multi-channel media plans, including strategic partnerships with critical media outlets.
• Lead strategic upfront and video planning along with execution and optimizations across all TV/video channels and platforms.
• Develop media briefs in partnership with brand teams.
• Handle all elements of brand media plans, including leading the agency to develop a plan that meets agreed objectives, tracking weekly, monthly and quarterly critical metrics and ensuring delivery on budget.
• Lead strategic development and realization of media partnerships, improving return on investment, value and performance.
• Uncover and validate insights to drive continuous optimization of media plans based on metrics, and ensure findings are shared and applied across brands.
• Leadership of media agencies to hold them accountable to the highest standards of performance.
• In partnership with CD&A, develop and track metrics for media mix and media effectiveness, while linking to the broader success metrics of the brand
• Be the brand liaison and key support to corporate advocacy
• Implement test and learns to support marketing innovation in media.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of marketing/media experience

Or

Master’s degree and 4 years of marketing/media experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of marketing/media experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 10 years of marketing/media experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of marketing/media experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep DTC and HCP media/marketing experience
• Technical competencies: Media targeting and segmentation, Multi-channel media plan development, media measurement and optimization, agency leadership.
• Expertise in media planning and deliveries for traditional/linear/TV as well as digital channels.
• Experience crafting and driving HCP-targeted media efforts, including NPP activation of target lists and omnichannel integration
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to uncover insights from performance/measurement tracking to drive action that increases brand impact.
• Strong ability in both leading cross-functional teams, and in being a member of a cross-functional team
• Strong communication efficiency: The ability to optimally empower, connect, and influence senior management and marketing organizations
• Ability to translate and communicate sophisticated information/strategies into simple and impactful carry out of plans
• Experience working with/within media agencies
• Pharmaceutical marketing experience considered a plus

THE JOB:

The Social Media Manager, Brand & Community is responsible for expanding the MGM Resorts brand story across all social media platforms and owned channels, while leading the social presence and reputation of individual MGM Resorts’ brands and key business verticals. THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Lead social media strategies that will support MGM Resorts brands by maintaining an engaging, inspiring, and world class online reputation which reflects the unique brand voice, tone, personality and market position of each individual brand or business vertical.
• Develop data led creative campaigns which are aligned to brand KPIs, media objectives and are aligned to brand guidelines and across key strategic business verticals.
• Track and report to key stakeholders the overall performance of various campaigns and reputation standards across all social media platforms.
• Partner with marketing stakeholders to ensure social is accurately represented in key business initiatives, events and activations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

In this vital role you will serve as the functional area lead on product teams, lead writing activities for complex product submissions, provide functional area expertise, train and mentor more junior writers, and lead departmental activities. Key responsibilities include:

• Author or oversee the authoring of all regulatory submission documents including Clinical Study Reports, Investigator Brochures, Responses to Questions, Protocols, Protocol Amendments, Informed Consent Forms, Table of All Studies, Clinical Overview Addenda, eCTD Module 2 Clinical Summary Documents, Briefing Documents, and Pediatric Investigation Plans
• Conduct the formal review and approval of authored documents, following applicable standard operating procedures
• With limited supervision, lead regulatory writing activities for complex product submissions, including new and supplemental drug applications/biologics license applications
• Serve as functional area lead on product teams (e.g., Global Regulatory Team, Evidence Generation Team, Global Safety Team, Label Working Group)
• Provide functional area input for Global Regulatory Plan and team goals
• Supervise the work of contract and freelance writers and mentor junior medical writers as assigned
