Race & Event Assistant Snowsports | Winter Closing date: 07/04/2024 We are seeking applicants to join our Race & Event Department team within this general labour role. Successful applicants will be part of a small team assisting with daily set up, preparation and maintenance of our on-mountain ski and snowboard racecourses. Working alongside Mountain Operations Departments including Grooming and Lifts, you will work on small and large events, from club races through to internationally recognised races on some of Thredbo’s best terrain, as well as assisting with our many on mountain events which run throughout the season. With some early starts and late finishes on the mountain, you will see Thredbo and its surrounds at its absolute best. Opportunities exist to help and learn to set courses along with the potential to drive or learn how to drive a snowmobile. A current driver’s licence of provisional level or above. Prior work in and around racecourses, driving snowmobiles or motorbikes, or admin skills are a distinct advantage but not essential.
