Digital Media Performance Analyst Intern
Summary of the Role:
The Digital Media Performance Analyst Intern will support the Digital Media Performance Strategist and Analysts with the management of the day-to-day paid media campaign management for various clients. This will include reporting, analysis, recommendations for campaign improvement, optimization and fulfilling implementation requests. The intern will be responsible for several accounts working under the direction of a Senior Digital Media Performance Analyst. The Intern will be data-driven and want to become a technical expert in all digital platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Marketing Platform, Facebook Ads, etc.).
Some of the activities in this role will include (but are not limited to):
- Pacing Campaigns/Accounts in various Paid Media Channels
- Setting up Campaign Experiments in Google Ads and Facebook Ads
- Creating and launching new campaigns in various Paid Media Channels
- Creating manual reports (Excel, PowerBI, etc.)
- Providing weekly/Biweekly campaign insights and recommendations
At the conclusion of this six-month internship, you'll:
- Be Google Ads Certified.
- Understand the goals of a digital media campaign, along with the channel mix and role of each channel to the consumer funnel.
- Have a basic understanding of how the Paid Media Team works with clients.
- Successfully utilize a media plan to pace an account.
- Successfully identify optimization opportunities and make account recommendations.
- Successfully interpret media performance reports complete with strategic recommendations.
Intern Requirements:
- Junior or Senior in Mass Communication, Marketing, Advertising. or Business Administration.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with Paid Media platforms (such as Google Ads or Facebook Ads) is preferred, but not required.
- Out-of-the-box thinking, analytical skills, eagerness to learn, thrives in a dynamic work environment, attention to detail.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), Spanish is a plus but not necessary.
- Proficient in MS Office, with an expertise in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
