We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and passionate Head of Corporate Communication to join our dynamic team! As the Head of Corporate Communication, you will lead the company's communications strategy to ensure a consistent and cohesive massage aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities

Communications Strategy

• Strategize, plan, implement and drive annual communication initiatives, both internal and external, for the company
• Design and manage the company's website, intranet sites, external distribution channels & other social media platforms

• Develop, drive and execute multi-media content including print, video and web as required

Brand Management

• Provide guidance and support for i) brand templates & guidelines and ii) internal & external communications initiatives as required
• Manage all communications and branding materials, including fleet lists, presentation template, image database and corporate gifts
• Take lead in corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, including charitable initiatives, community engagement, and sustainability programs

Investor Relations/Capital Markets

• Plan and host quarterly earnings release calls for company management
• Ensure timely upload of earnings presentation, executive transcripts etc., post-earnings call to Investor Relations microsite and other media platforms
• Draft and publish press releases for compliance purpose, and support Investor Relations function to shape and convey company's investor messages to equity market
• Maintain investor relations content on the company's website and manage announcements on NYSE and Oslo stock exchanges. Support company equity market marketing initiatives
• Oversee the creation and publication of the company's annual report and sustainability report

• Degree holder with minimum 8 - 15 years of relevant corporate communications & investment relation experience
• Prior experience in working in listed company is preferred

Mediacorp Brand Studio is hiring a talented and experienced Assistant Editor for its growing content marketing team. Candidates should be passionate about creating impactful content that spans across different formats - from print articles to digital and social media copy - and mediums that include audio and video. Candidates will work with a pool of freelancers and collaborate closely with an experienced in-house team of creatives, editors and art directors to produce engaging content on Mediacorp's platforms. This can be in the form of advertorials, customised digital campaigns and custom content for clients. Besides sharp writing and editing skills, the ideal candidate is also creative in storytelling, being able to shape compelling content ideas around client briefs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role within commissioning is responsible for working across and delivering independent and in-house commissions for Chinese (primary) and English (secondary) unscripted content.

This role is important to delivering our strategy, working with both In-House Studio and the External Production Houses to commission content based on a deep understanding of audience needs. Managing Commissions Successfully

• Ensure that the content is in line with the overall audience, content and editorial strategy
• To be responsible for ensuring that programmes deliver on time and budget and to an editorially high standard. This includes scheduling and monitoring progress on programmes, anticipating problems and taking appropriate action.
• Review budgets, scripts, cast, offlines, marketing campaigns; you must be able to give detailed copious notes on every script and offline episode with the aim of improving the quality of the programmes
• Brainstorm with the Marketing and Social media teams to ensure maximum publicity for your shows.
• Work closely with marketing and comms with regards to the press and marketing strategies for commissioned programmes.
• Collaborate with Commercial to ensure revenue optimization for the programmes you are assigned to
• Monitor and assess qualitative and quantitative performance of programmes using data analytics and focus group studies

• Degree in any related discipline with at least 3 to 5 years of content development experience

Experiences

• Experience and track record either with or within external production houses or Mediacorp Studio for the unscripted genre, with demonstrable examples of content that have delivered both impact and audiences.
• Display good editorial judgement and practical knowledge and experience of applying legal and editorial guidelines as they relate to content creation.
• Some degree of knowledge and experience in the application of the legal dimension of contractual agreements and corporate agreements as they affect production.

Knowledge

• Good understanding of the industry, market and genre.
• Good understanding of the local & regional media landscape, output across Mediacorp, and our competitors.
• Knowledge of editorial guidelines relevant to programme making e.g. artists' rights; copyright; insurance requirements.

Scope
Edit and package videos for social media accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• To edit captivating video content for social media engagement and to create highly shareable content.
• Work with internal teams to brainstorm fresh and creative video ideas.
• Maximise existing content and help develop social media presence through the creation of video-driven strategies and digital media content.
• Oversee content production where necessary, including simple filming with mobile device where required.
• Adhere to video adaptation best practices for social media platforms.

• Degree, Specialist Diploma Media & Communication, Mass Communication, Communication & New Media, Film & Media Study, Film & Video Production and Audiovisual Communications.
• 1 - 2 years of experience in video editing, preferably for social media.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software, in particular Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Strong time management and project management skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Keen interest in local media content.
• Creative with a good eye for design and attention to detail.
• Avid user of all trending social media channels (including Tik Tok).
