The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a senior publications editor utilizing strategic, tactical and operational communication procedures to develop informational materials that inform leadership and personnel of DAF policies, programs, services, and activities related to resilience and interpersonal and self-directed violence (ISDV) prevention and sexual assault response, hereinafter referred to as Integrated Resilience, at all levels within the Department of Air Force (DAF). Responsible for ensuring A1Z communications reflect the content and the spirit of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and DAF guidance.
- Performs writing-editing duties for A1Z print products, social media, briefs, and articles.
- Supports special projects and assignments, communication strategy development and execution, and develops key messages to effectively communicate AF/A1Z strategies, policies, and objectives across the department.
- Develops and coordinates Public Affairs, security, and policy review activities.
- Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with DAF, DoD, federal entities and private sector.
