Job Description:
We are actively seeking motivated and enthusiastic Event Staff Members to join the teams of our clients on a zero-hour contract basis. This role is essential for the smooth operation of catering services at various events. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for the hospitality industry, possess outstanding customer service skills, and be able to work effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and teardown of event spaces, ensuring the careful handling of all equipment and supplies.
- Deliver exemplary service to guests, including serving food and beverages, with a focus on maintaining a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Collaborate with kitchen and event coordination teams to ensure services are executed on time.
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport supplies and equipment to and from event locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in work areas throughout events.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure the successful execution of events and overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing event environments.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by event schedules.
