This position will have general accounting responsibilities such as preparing journal entries, account analysis and reconciliation, reporting, and ad hoc reports for management. Collaboration with the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the BOC Finance Team is also required.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and post monthly journal entries and other adjustments. Execute and ensure proper accounting of intercompany and third-party balances and transactions.
Confirm intercompany balances with intercompany contacts and investigate any material differences.
Prepare and enter the netting information into Citi Netting and ensure timely settlement of Intercompany balances.
Responsible for BPC Schedules and Reports for company 121.
Reconcile balances between Blackline, JDE and BPC.
Cash Management duties which include monitoring petty cash, preparation of wires that are not done by the SSC (such as MXN Plants funding) and foreign currency wires, preparation of the Wells Fargo lockbox deposit of third-party cash collections, among others.
Submit invoices through AP system for payment as necessary.
Point of contact between certain vendors and AP Team.
Book non-SSC managed bank activity to the General Ledger.
Perform BI Reports reconciliations to GL.
Perform payroll tie out between JDE and ADP.
Quarterly review of the BD CECL Model Approach for AR Allowance calculation.
Support the Director of Finance and Accounting Manager in the annual budget preparation and other forecasts, as required.
Perform balance sheet and P&L account analysis.
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations on a timely basis.
Perform month-end and year-end financial reporting duties, as assigned.
Participate in Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) testing and support other SOX requirements as needed.

Execute continuous improvement initiatives to streamline monthly close processes and other areas of financial processes and reporting.
