• Performs O&M engineering involving design and construction that encompasses the maintenance, repair, upgrade, and operation of infrastructure facilities, including utility systems, utilizing professional knowledge of general engineering and architecture.
• Plans, programs, budgets, and executes required projects in support of assigned programs.
• Performs planning and design work for substantial multi-phase new construction, renovations, and improvement projects for real property facilities, including utility systems, utilizing a professional knowledge of engineering.

Some of the duties include, but are not limited to;

• Provides counseling and/or psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families in collaboration with multidisciplinary mental health staff to serve Veterans as needed or assigned.
• Provides group counseling services in collaboration with multidisciplinary mental health staff for all Veterans seeking substance use disorder and mental health treatment.
• Consults with BHIP team on a wide variety of patient care issues.
• Willingly accepts additional and special assignments that are necessary to meet program goals or Veteran needs.
• Completes all clinical charting and documentation required by the Medical Center or healthcare system in a timely and accurate manner, as appropriate.
• Serves on mental health committees or task forces.
• Represents the Healthcare System at professional/program community group/events and committees.
• Participates in ongoing performance improvement initiatives within their assigned Healthcare System track.
• May provide supervision for LMHC trainees and/or unlicensed LMHC staff.
• May participate in the training programs of other mental health trainees.

• Provides engineering services to US Army Garrison Miami garrison, tenant and other reimbursable customers during preconstruction design and development phases.
• Evaluates customer requirements, researches and develops design criteria, develops scopes of work, and coordinates design packages for construction, renovation, and modification of projects.
• Develops Service Contracts. To include determining requirements, contract Performance Work Statements (PWS), independent government estimates, and other contract support documents.
• Conducts analysis of goods and services received, maintains records of the quality assurance actions and prepares memorandums for record, recommendations and reports
• Incumbent performs supervision and administration for a variety of procurement instruments for engineering services, minor construction and sustainment, restoration and modernization projects
• Keeps abreast of current developments in the engineering field and particularly its various specializations to ensure applicability of the most efficient and practical methods to assigned projects
• Reviews contractor reports and test results for completeness and accuracy.

Staff Dentist: An individual that demonstrates the ability in the field of general dentistry or a dental specialty who is employed to perform the duties related to various professional activities of patient care and treatment without supervision. In addition to meeting the basic requirements, applicants must demonstrate ability in the general practice of dentistry; be capable of assisting in maintaining accepted standards of professional care in VA facilities; and be capable of accepting full responsibility for the proper care and treatment of assigned patients

Primary duties and responsibilities for all Dentists include, but are not limited to:

• Routine exams and teeth cleaning
• Restorative procedures, including fillings and crowns
• Comprehensive surgical care, including extractions (pulling teeth) and oral cancer screening
• Routine and advanced prosthodontic care, including bridges, dentures, and dental implants
• Routine and advanced periodontal care, including root canals, gum treatments, and supporting bone care
• Oral and facial reconstruction surgery to repair damage from traumatic injury or serious illness
