- Provide technical oversight, develop performance plans, and rate employees.
- Develop budget allocations for individual department/division which includes staff use, technology, facility and equipment requirements and/or improvements.
- Serve as the resident technical expert on policy, regulatory matters, engineering, construction, operations, maintenance, space management, utilities, and building security pertaining to facilities.
- Develop long range, multi-year work plans for engineering projects which involve construction, operations, and maintenance of medical, dental, veterinary facilities, grounds, and roadways.
- Review and analyze project proposals, determines benefits of project, analyzes technology requirements, resource needs, and justifies expenditures.
