We are seeking a personable and enthusiastic school librarian who is dedicated to fostering a passion for literature and reading among our young people. We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive, supportive and inspiring centre for our students and the school library is at the heart of that. As recent recipients of a ‘Reading Schools’ silver award, this is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in enhancing our students’ educational experience and becoming an integral part of an excellent school that truly values the importance of reading and research.
In order to apply, you will hold a degree in Librarianship/Information Science or a degree and post-graduate qualification in Librarianship/Information Science, and be a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals.
You will work 37 hours per week on a term time basis.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
