Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 + Superannuation

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Carpenter and Joiner to contribute to our prefabricated construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of professionals in a rapidly growing industry. As a Carpenter and Joiner at Pro Prefabs, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing building components to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fabrication and Assembly: Construct and assemble prefabricated timber and metal structures in the workshop, following detailed specifications and designs.
2. Installation: Perform on-site installation of prefabricated components, ensuring they are aligned, level, and meet all structural requirements.
3. Joinery Work: Carry out joinery tasks including the precise cutting, shaping, and fitting of wood and other materials to create structural elements such as frames, flooring, walls, and roofs.
4. Quality Assurance: Inspect and ensure that all completed works comply with industry standards and regulations, maintaining Pro Prefabs' reputation for high-quality craftsmanship.
5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and other team members to ensure the seamless integration of prefabricated elements into construction projects.
6. Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any technical issues during the construction process, ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects.
7. Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site and in the workshop, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.
8. Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and care for tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order for use in various projects.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications: Trade qualified to AQF Certificate III in Carpentry or Joinery, or an equivalent qualification.
2. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in carpentry, joinery, or prefabrication work, post qualification.
3. Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, working with hand and power tools, and performing both workshop and on-site carpentry tasks.
4. Work Rights: Must have full working rights in Australia.
5. Attributes: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to high standards of work. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
