Job Role: Cleaning operative

Salary: £23,200.32
Contract: Permanent, full time, 39 hours per week
Please Note - This role includes a late shift on rotation. Start time will rotate between 11am-6pm and 6.30am-3pm
We are seeking an experienced Cleaner to join our team at a HMP Highpoint, a Category C male prison.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a cleaning operative with any combination of:
- Can proactively undertake various cleaning activities, including using chemicals and equipment such as floor polishers and vacuum cleaners etc
- Understand the importance of, and can adhere to health and safety legislation and policies and procedures to provide a safe and appropriate service to the prison environment
- Are able to remain calm under pressure and work in an environment which requires a methodical approach and ability to work to deadlines
- Can ensure the shared areas of the site such as the offices, visitor centre and main wings are kept clean, clear, and sanitised.
