A Mobile Fire & Security Technician is required to carry out small-works installation, PPM/reactive and modifications to fire & security infrastructure systems to include (not limited to) access control, CCTV & intruder alarm systems within commercial, corporate and industrial facilities located in the London region (ideally we are looking for candidates in or close to South London).

Candidate Requirements & Additional Information

• Hold relevant qualifications & further training commensurate with a Fire & Security Technician i.e. FIA Units 1, 4 & 5 and possess a recognised apprenticeship
• Experience in the installation/commissioning & PPM of fire & security infrastructure systems as outlined above within commercial, corporate, retail & industrial environments.
• Driving License (Maximum of 6 Penalty Points)
• The ability to work as part of a call-out rota

a) Housekeeping 1.General cleaning duties as required, including sanitary areas, bedrooms, communal areas and offices. 2. Regeneration and service of frozen meals and associated tasks, such as washing-up, cleaning kitchens and dining rooms. b) Catering 1. To provide a Catering Service to support the Ward based Patients meal service and to prepare sandwiches, rolls, salads and snacks for Patients. 2. To ensure the safe storage/handling of all food items including Cook-Freeze meals, ensuring compliance with Trust Policy and current Legislation. 3. To maintain a hygienic and clean condition of the Catering Department including associated areas, equipment and utensils. c) Portering 1. To sort, pack and deliver Cook-Freeze meals, fresh and ambient goods and all associated catering items to Wards on a daily/weekly/as need basis. To deliver/collect Function Catering items to various areas of the Unit as required ensuring compliance with Trust Policy and Legislation. 3. Collection and delivery between wards and departments of post, stores, laundry, pharmacy items, medical gases, pathological specimens and furniture and equipment. 4. Post duties including the collection, sorting and delivery of all postal items. Other Duties 1. General messenger duties 2. Report maintenance faults to the Help Desk/Supervisor. 3. Report all sightings of pests to the Help Desk/Supervisor. 4. Ensure all information appertaining to Patients and staff is kept confidential. 5. Any other duties as may reasonably be requested. Health & Safety 1.
