We're looking to recruit an In-Store Cleaning Manager.

You'll be supervising the team responsible for delivering a high-quality cleaning service to Sainsbury's store, but you'll also be carrying out some cleaning tasks yourself.

You'll support with recruiting and training your Cleaning team, planning their rotas and work patterns, and completing their timesheets so that they get paid correctly.

You will need to have a degree of flexibility with working times required to meet business needs.

Your Responsibilities as Part of Our Team


Hold performance and financial reviews with the management team and evaluate actions to maintain and improve KPI performance
Implement centrally generated brand strategy flawlessly at a local level
Ensure adequate levels of staff are deployed in each area to maximise customer service throughout the day
Formulate the Club’s local strategic plan
Effectively communicate the Club and company strategy to the team
Provide clarity of performance expectations through regular feedback and performance reviews for the team
Recruit and retain a team that deliver outstanding customer service and retail standards across all areas of the Club
Drive a culture of exceptional customer service and lead the team to ensure that the Customer's needs are exceeded in every session
Ensure that the team critically evaluate the feedback received from all Customers and respond to this
Have a highly visible presence in all areas of the Club at peak trading times
Ensure compliance with all Licensing and Health & Safety requirements plus faithfully implementing all company operating standards
Ensure the Club is operating in strict accordance with the Company's Operating Manuals, standards and procedures
Ensure you create a Safer Gambling Environment for all our Customers and Colleagues across all of our channels; online, in club and live

Immediate start available - Full time - Weekly Pay, holiday pay, Pension scheme - Starting on £13.00ph while in training
Full UK Drivers licence is a requirement for this role.
Must have cleaning experience be comfortable supporting or leading a team of employees, have people management experience, ability to multi-task, prioritise and delegate work as necessary, work to tight deadlines, knowledge of health & Safety, follow expected standards and procedures for each individual site.
Will be required to work some night shifts - Hours are variable approx. 40+ per week
Will include working some weekends & Bank Holidays
Flexible approach to working hours, as required for a 24/7 operation, start & finish times vary - approx 5am day shift start time and approx 10pm start for night shift, we can't determine shift finish times as it can vary depending on the workload

The role will include internal cleaning/event cleaning, window cleaning, toilets etc. at Blackpool Tower, Town centre locations and across the Fylde
DBS and background checks will be required for suitable applicants
We are looking for people with good customer service skills, physically fit and in good health as this role can often be fast paced due to the quick turn around on event cleaning etc. this an active role where you will be hoovering/sweeping/mopping of large areas, cleaning public areas, toilets, all round general cleaning, event cleaning, window and external building cleaning.
Could be required to get to/from work safely out of public transport hours.
