This post is for a Senior Clinical Fellow in General Paediatrics. This is a 6 month fixed term post with the possibility of extension depending on vacancies. This post is based at Queen Marys St Helier Hospital. The appointee will however work closely with colleagues on all sites, indeed the Trust expects all staff to be committed to cross-site working. During the post you will obtain experience primarily in General Paediatrics including working in a dedicated Paediatric Emergency department, Paediatric Day Care Unit and Outpatient work. The post holder will be a part of the Middle Grade Paediatric team, taking part in the on-call and out of hours rota as part of a full shift system that is fully EWTD-compliant. During this post the successful applicant will gain a range of experience in the General Paediatrics Ward, Paediatric A&E and the Paediatric Day Case Unit. It is anticipated the post holder will continue to develop their skills and experience in all aspects of General Paediatrics throughout the duration of the post.
