General year 5 teaching assistant needed for St Helens primary school - May half-term start.
We are working in partnership to recruit skilled individuals who have a flair and passion for working with children.
They are looking for someone who can make bonds quickly and present a warm and friendly persona. The school promotes outdoor play, and you will be working with a KS2 child working at a slightly lower level.
This role is for 3 full days a week with the possibility to continue for the September term for the right candidate.

Your new role.
Your new role will include supporting pupils in KS2 on a 1-1 and general basis and helping to boost their ability to access the curriculum and succeed academically for the end of the year. You may be required to work outside the classroom for intervention classes and provide support throughout the year in assessments and bridging curriculum gaps. You will be engaging in and monitoring behaviour in a variety of ways and adhere to school policies. You will be ensuring pupil engagement and use / provide resource material to suit attainment / SEN needs. You will work closely with the school SENCo and outside agencies to provide SEN provisions.

- Recent experience of the curriculum (KS2) aged children.
- Provide relevant references.
- Enthusiasm, energy, and flexibility.
- Highly motivated and driven to exceed expectations.
- Up-to-date DBS preferred (Hays can supply if needed).
