JOB SCOPE
To assist and support the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Assist the Executive Housekeeper in planning, organizing the overall guestrooms, public area, laundry and room operations.
2. Ensure that the established standards in terms of service delivery and operations are according to the hotel requirements.
3. Assist to co-ordinate all housekeeping operations for the Guestrooms and public areas
4. Responsible for planning the roster of the Housekeeping team, ensuring a 24-hour shift coverage for all colleagues. Must be personally able to cover any role or duty under the Housekeeping department.
5. Assist with personnel matters such as interviewing, discipline, coaching and counseling.
6. Ensure that all employees report for duty punctually and wear cleaned and tidy uniforms with name badge at all times.
7. To lead, train and motivate the employees to perform to their best.
8. Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Possess a Diploma in Hotel Accommodation & Operations Management.
2. Possess relevant working experiences in similar position in the hospitality industry.
3. Good co-ordinating and organising abilities.
4. Good interpersonal communications skills.
5. Able to work independentally and as a team member.
