About The Role
You will be working Monday to Sunday, 19 shifts per month, 08:00 to 16:00, 35 hours per week, on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all areas allocated are cleaned to the highest standard possible.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all residents and clients whom you come into contact with.
- To be a part of the overall team maintaining the policies, company rules and quality of Lillie Square Management company (LSML)
Conditions of Work:
This position will be based on an average of a 19 shifts per month (hours may vary dependant on individual employment contracts). Cleaners will operate a Monday to Sunday week based on a five-day working Rota (unless agreed otherwise)
Working Hours:
Shift times will be agreed with the Estate Manager. Times may vary on occasions subject to business requirements.
Main Duties:
- Ensure the staff uniform is worn and standards of appearance are maintained at all times; all protective and external wear to be worn at all times.
- Always ensure that the necessary Health & Safety signs are displayed, and procedures followed before carrying out any work.
- Report any damage or defects immediately to the Duty Manager.
- To remove any animal waste left around the estate grounds using appropriate glove protection and dispose of correctly.
- Daily rotate paladin refuse bins within the building refuse rooms to ensure full are removed to central bin area (using bin tug to manually move).
- Assist with any large bulk items of waste as necessary and directed by the Cleaning Supervisor/Duty Manager.
- Dust and wipe down the walls throughout the building, using a clean, damp cloth only. Ensure all surfaces are clean and free of marks (as directed)
- Internal building cleaning as required, involving hoovering, mopping and regular dusting of surfaces as required.
- Clean external windows, main entrance areas as per schedule.
- Ensure you address all residents, visitors and staff in accordance to the company standards at all times & to regularly attend on-the-job staff customer care and in-house training courses.
- Report all maintenance issues to include light bulbs out to security/concierge and duty shift manager.
- Ensure that time sheets are accurately filled in daily, together with any other necessary forms.
- To follow all safety measures as advised by UK Government and estate management in relation to COVID-19, including whilst travelling to and from work.
Other Responsibilities:
- To know, understand and demonstrate the principles highlighted within the Lillie square management company Mission Statement
- To help to create a 'can do, will do, with pleasure' culture within all aspects of the Estates Team.
- Assist where necessary with any other tasks or duties when assigned by the Cleaning Supervisor, Duty Manager or Estate Manager
- Turn on and off lights within unoccupied areas at the appropriate times.
