South West Norse is a FM provider delivering support services to businesses across cleaning and facilities management disciplines across the region. We currently have a great opportunity for a Caretaker to join our established team at Salcombe Primary School on a permanent, part-time basis.
Role
As a Caretaker You will be working on-site under the direction of an area supervisor, ensuring the site and grounds are cleaned and maintained to contractual standards. You will be responsible for equipment and products used in carrying out your role, including inventory and safe storage.
This position will also hold further site management duties, and you will be expected to support with general maintenance issues as well as being responsible for site security and some minor handyman duties.
Your Experience:
If you have previously worked within a similar role then this would be advantageous however, at Norse we can offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals if you can demonstrate:

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit 3 part time In-store Cleaners based in Sainsbury's Pinhoe Road store on a permanment basis. 20, 20 and 16.5 hours per week with an hourly rate of £11.44.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is

Sunday: 07:00 - 11:00

Monday: 05:00 - 08:00

Tuesday: 05:00 - 08:00

Wednesday: 05:00 - 08:00

Thursday: 05:00 - 08:00

Friday: Day Off

Saturday:06:00 - 10:00

Sunday: Day Off

Monday: Day Off

Tuesday: 18:30 - 22:30

Wednesday: 18:30 - 22:30

Thursday: 18:30 - 22:30

Friday: 18:30 - 22:30

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery


• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.


• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies


• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris


• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied

An eye for detail and cleanliness

A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service

Please note that you will need to provide a smartphone that has the capability to access our Arcus Connect App that we use for recording time and attendance. This is a condition of your employment with us.
