About the Role
Nottingham City Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to lead our MASH Team on a permanent basis.
This is a unique leadership opportunity, to support families and communities in Nottingham City to give every child the best chance of a happy and rewarding life, especially those who need more help.
You will bring with you a proven track record of successfully managing people and be able to effectively communicate in a Multi-Agency environment, prioritise and work autonomously.
The work is varied, fast-paced and challenging and in return we will offer a supportive environment, providing regular supervision and appraisals, with a firm commitment to supporting continuous professional development.
You will provide leadership to your team, whilst allocating and prioritising workloads effectively to ensure the care of the child is paramount, whilst also ensuring you develop your team to provide an effective and efficient service. The right candidate will have responsibility for the team plan to meet objectives and ensure performance targets are achieved.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in MASH, a relevant professional qualification in Social work, current Social Work England registration, and previous leadership experience in a similar role.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Professional Social Work Qualification
- Registered with Social Work England
- Experience of working in MASH
- Previous Leadership experience in a previous role
- Possession of a full driving license and access to a vehicle
- A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
