WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Serve as the client relation leader for key clients and manage client portfolios
• Regional planning and local market implementation - culture decoding of local consumer insights, creative ideation and activations, providing guidance and quality control for execution excellence to SEA market specialists
• Proactively generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success
• Lead a regional team, including SEA market and digital specialists, to deliver quality strategies and execution to clients
• Serve as a role model to team members and create opportunities to enhance the growth of team members
• Identify opportunities for agency/team learning and develop tools/suggestions to expand agency knowledge and understanding
• Demonstrate ability to help teams understand how industry, cultural or media-driven issues can directly or indirectly affect the client.
• Play an integral role in shaping the organizational culture and provide strong leadership to junior team members
• Play an active role in the agency’s new business efforts; take responsibility for the majority of the planning input on pitches, and being the planning representative for the agency in creds

You are becoming a trusted advisor to clients, which means you have a track record of delivering consistently to a high standard while striking the right balance between protecting client and agency interests. Your focus as an Associate Director/Director:

• Make our clients’ brands matter by being best in class in PR and Innfluence, as well as bringing together the best mix of Ogilvy capabilities to solve business problems and build agency reputation.
• Become a trusted advisor to the clients to build client satisfaction and intimacy which maintains key relationships and opens up new growth opportunities for the agency.
• Independently lead integrated and social accounts, manage team members working on the account to produce consistently good results, while building a highly-engaged team.
• Be able to successfully collaborate and lead new business proposals or pitches, and work across departments, including Strategy and Creative Leads, on larger / PR-led integrated pitches.
• Responsible for revenue and margin growth and protection - including joint ownership with Directors of locally agreed practice targets.
• Business and finance management, meets billability targets and ensures the team does the same for their levels.
• Understands our contractual agreements and their impact on agency procedures.
