The Electrician (Instructor) must have the technical qualifications and knowledge required to perform and instruct on all duties, tasks, and responsibilities contained in the electrician job standard. Clinical Crisis Management: Develops, reviews, and analyzes a clinical crisis reporting system that accurately tracks critical incidents to improve Vet Center services. The individual collaborates and coordinates with VA entities to facilitate and ensure that a Mortality & Morbidity (M&M) quality review panel is conducted when Vet Center clients die by suicide. Ensures the Peer Review protocol process is completed at Vet Centers when the outcome of the Self- Directed Violence Assessment tool indicates a suicide attempt. Utilizes administrative and clinically qualitative outcomes to further educate staff.

Staff Development and Education: Ensures that the clinical staff in their respective RCS Zone is adequately trained to address the needs of Vet Center clients. The individual also ensures staff is kept abreast of clinical issues or evidence-based treatments. Assesses the educational developmental needs of the clinical staff. Responsible for monitoring licensure of all eligible clinical staff in consultation with Deputy District Director and Staffing, to ensure compliance. Develops educational activities, training curriculum in conjunction with District Offices.

Education Liaison: Oversees and ensure that all clinical supervisors adhere to established VHA policies governing health professions training in VHA facilities.

Supervision/Guidance: Provides consultation, clinical supervision, and guidance to the clinical staff of the Vet Centers. The individual is the primary clinical supervisor for each Vet Center Director within their RCS Zone. The venue of supervision may be on-site during a quality assurance site visit, telephonic, tele-video, or through written policy and directives.

Research: Reviews all research proposals involving Vet Centers and advises the Deputy District Director of the effectiveness and value of the project to enhance treatment of Vet Center clients. Upon approval of any research project, the ADD/C monitors the process and compliance with VHA research protocol; ensures proposal guidelines, Veteran client privacy, and timely completion. Independently studies such areas to arrive at appropriate solutions to be recommended for implementation.

Outreach: Monitors Vet Center outreach activities are strategically planned and adjusted to ensure market penetration of the local eligible individuals' population. Reviews and advises the Deputy District Director as to the appropriateness and effectiveness of outreach efforts, strategies, and activities. Promotes the sharing of successful outreach strategies among the Vet Centers in a best practices model.

Manage a list of trained Loadmasters to meet the need for the Joint Airdrop Inspector (JAI) Program. The supervisor will ensure that only the most qualified individual is selected to be JAI certified for the program from the list of mission qualified loadmasters. Choose who will be the unit representative and subject matter expert on all inter-service aerial delivery review panels and malfunction on analysis board meetings. Attend Standardization and Evaluation boards to select candidates that will be trained to be JAI certified.

Manage Flight Crew Information File (FCIF). Ensure pertinent and time sensitive information is disseminated in a timely manner. Instate controls to ensure loadmasters constantly monitor and review information delivered through the FCIF program. As a specialist MRI & Rotational Radiographer at St Barts, Nuffield Hospital, the opportunities to develop yourself, and the services we provide are abundant. As the flagship hospital for cardiac services, previous experience in Cardiac MRI is highly desirable as well as experience with Siemens equipment. In addition to being highly skilled in MRI, you will also be experienced in another modality such as CT, Cath Lab and/or Mammography.

As a Specialist MRI + Rotational Radiographer, you will:

• Have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent).

• A postgraduate qualification and/or high levels of technical knowledge (desirable).

• Have more than 3 years' experience in MRI.

• Medication orders are reviewed in context of the patient's past medication and drug use history. This history shall include but not limited to current Rx medications, pertinent past medications, OTC medication use, herbals, allergies and adverse drug reactions, vaccinations, substance misuse, patient knowledge base, compliance, and therapeutic concerns. Resolves all prescription problems or questions with providers prior to dispensing.
• Prescriptions will be reviewed for therapeutic appropriateness in regard to dose, schedule, route, dosage from, indication, duplicate therapy, treatment guidelines, and untreated indications. Therapeutic drug interventions are identified, quickly resolved, and well documented.
• Patients are efficiently and professionally counseled about their medications, including the use of OTC products and herbals. May provide written and/or oral consultation with prescribers and other health-care professionals regarding pharmacotherapeutics. Documentation is added to CPRS.
• Reconciles medication orders to home medications when available via Vista. At time of discharge, reconciles inpatient medication, past outpatient regiments and new regiments in terms of therapy changes and proper prescription utilizing and determine future follow ups with high-risk medications.
• Flagging prescriptions and managing view alerts. Will generate unsigned discontinued orders using "Service Reject" when prescription is duplicate or harmful to patient.
• Documents any adverse reaction related to or possibly related to any medication use.
• Consults with patient's physician to minimize harm to the patient and ensure maximum assessment and treatment of potential problems.
• Communicates effectively with patients and with other health care professionals on drug related matters.
• Develops and maintains a working knowledge of our Pharmacy VISTA/CPRS software package. Verifies and/or accurately enters information into computer system.
• Workload is prioritized to assure that prescription and medication orders reach patient in a timely manner.
• Assures that the preparing and dispensing of medications adheres to current law, regulations, policies and procedures and professional standards of practice.
• Dispenses completed prescriptions with instructions/medication information to the patient or family member.
• Checks the work of pharmacy technicians, pharmacy students, and volunteers for accuracy.

Major Duties Include (but not limited to):

1. Arrange major and minor repairs associated with the chiller and boiler plants.
2. Create documents such as Statement of Work, Independent Government Cost Estimates, Responsible Source Lists, and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans on multiple annual service contracts.
3. Monitor and control the handling and disposal of liquid and solid hazardous materials in coordination with Safety Specialist.
4. Supervise various station level contracts and perform final and progress work inspections on all Operations contracts under $500,000.00.
5. Serve as Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on multiple service contracts (must obtain COR certification within 6 months of employment.
6. Analyze vendor proposals and service contracts.
7. Coordinate service calls for replacement or repairs.
