About The Role:
We're recruiting for a Cleaning Manager to join our passionate and driven Cleaning team.

You'll oversee all cleaning and associated duties carried out by all those that you are responsible supervising.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Overseeing and assisting with the cleaning of the floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms (plus other ad hoc areas).
• Managing staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits and recruiting new employees where required.
• Identify any training needs on-site, conduct the training where possible and keep appropriate records of training completed on-site.
• Involvement with investigation matters such as personal accidents or potential disciplinary investigations.

• Responsibility for monitoring cleaning products on-site, maintaining stock levels and submitting orders as required in line with agreed site budgets.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• You must have right to work in the UK.
• Previous experience as a Manager or Supervisor in cleaning or a similar field is desirable
• Experience in staffing, rotas, training, and basic HR compliance.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work to deadlines and prioritise as well as being flexible with working hours and days.

Responsible for the operations of the Cleaning Team and Catering Team and all soft services, delivering excellent Customer Service by ensuring all requests from users within the ELFT are executed in a timely, accurate and professional manner all within the agreed service level requirements. • Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior Customer Service in accordance with the department and company standards.

• Support the recruitment with the sign on process and DBS checks, management, and development of staff to meet all contractual requirements, Key Performance Indicators and Service Parameters.
• Manage and complete the staff allocations.
• Take responsibility for development and maintenance of expectations related to all people management as well as the onsite process including absence (e.g., return to work interviews and absence reviews meetings), time keeping, retention, productivity, quality of work, uniform and appearance standards, behaviour & attitude.
• Ensure that all comments/complaints are fully investigated, and findings reported to the Facilities Management team in a timely manner.
• Attend training or meetings required by your line manager.
• Undertake Note Taking and Investigations to support the Service Managers.

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with the Trust and colleagues, adhering to all current policies.
• Ensure the effective delivery of cleaning service withing a designated area. Complying with agreed work schedules and using appropriate methods of work, ensuring any service level agreement and quality standards are met in line with the Company and Trust policies
• Attend meetings with OCS, Trust and Project Co as required, implement any actions and/or suggest improvements to working practices.

• Manage and validate staff performance via carrying out site walks on wards/departments based on the feedback given.
• Work alongside HR & Training Manager to ensure any changes or developments which will enhance the staff development are met. Ensure the mandatory training is completed in a timely manner.

• Manage the annual leave process for all OCS staff.
• Participate in any communication activities through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas.
• Lead and ensure all staff trainings and refresher trainings, toolbox talks, any other trainings required by your line manager.

• Excellent PC skills with full Microsoft office knowledge

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all areas allocated are cleaned to the highest standard possible.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all residents and clients whom you come into contact with.
• To be a part of the overall team maintaining the policies, company rules and quality.

• Ensure the staff uniform is worn and standards of appearance are maintained at all times; all protective and external wear to be worn at all times.
• Always ensure that the necessary Health & Safety signs are displayed, and procedures followed before carrying out any work.
• Report any damage or defects immediately to the Duty Manager.
• To remove any animal waste left around the estate grounds using appropriate glove protection and dispose of correctly.
• Daily rotate paladin refuse bins within the building refuse rooms to ensure full are removed to central bin area (using bin tug to manually move).
• Assist with any large bulk items of waste as necessary and directed by the Cleaning Supervisor/Duty Manager.
• Dust and wipe down the walls throughout the building, using a clean, damp cloth only. Ensure all surfaces are clean and free of marks (as directed)
• Internal building cleaning as required, involving hoovering, mopping and regular dusting of surfaces as required.
• Clean external windows, main entrance areas as per schedule.
• Ensure you address all residents, visitors and staff in accordance to the company standards at all times & to regularly attend on-the-job staff customer care and in-house training courses.
• Report all maintenance issues to include light bulbs out to security/concierge and duty shift manager.
• Ensure that time sheets are accurately filled in daily, together with any other necessary forms.
• To follow all safety measures as advised by UK Government and estate management in relation to COVID-19, including whilst travelling to and from work.

• To know, understand and demonstrate the principles highlighted.
• To help to create a 'can do, will do, with pleasure' culture within all aspects of the Estates Team.
• Assist where necessary with any other tasks or duties when assigned by the Cleaning Supervisor, Duty Manager or Estate Manager

Conditions of Work:

This position will be based on an average of a 19 shifts per month (hours may vary dependant on individual employment contracts). Cleaners will operate a Monday to Sunday week based on a five-day working Rota (unless agreed otherwise)

Working Hours:

Shift times will be agreed with the Estate Manager. Times may vary on occasions subject to business requirements.

Working location is close to Heathrow airport.

The Dispatcher will be responsible for meeting daily order targets set by the Logistics Manager, adhering to CAA regulations and ensuring that all orders are fulfilled by production.

They will also assist the logistics manager to ensure that the staff are trained and comply to company SSOW whilst advising customers of order deliveries by sharing delivery trackers

You will also check stock levels, reporting any deficiencies to the logistics manager and both maintain and update the stock report throughout the shift.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

• Work within the team to load and dispatch the product (In-Flight-Supplies) on time.

• To maintain Health and Safety standards in the workplace.

• Good attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team.

• Ensure that the security sheets are completed correctly

• To ensure that all document checks are carried out before dispatching products

• Liaise with all departments to ensure that products required are available, and prioritise accordingly

• Ensure housekeeping is always kept to a high standard

• To ensure strict compliance with all security processes as required by the Civil Aviation Authority and the site security programme

• To ensure all stock is moved into despatch with the 8.1 completed

• To ensure all broken equipment is tagged and reported

• To carry out adhoc tasks as and when required

To be successful in the role, you will need:

• Preferred experience in similar role ideally within Laundry and Warehouse

• Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.

• Demonstrates drive and resilience. Open and innovative when working in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Decisive and collaborative in equal measures.
