JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for Marine services on the platform. Cultivate and maintain a strong relationship with Service Providers within the assigned region.
- Manage a team to source and identify Service Providers (including Classification and Flag State requirement, Electrical and Mechanical Services, Inspections and Survey, Calibration and Certification, Port Agency Services).
- Engage Service Providers onboard the e-commerce platform, negotiating with Service Providers on pricing and contractual terms for Marine Services products.
- Monitor fulfillment of orders from Client and service progress is on schedule with minimal disruption and demurrage.
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that the supply chain processes are in order.
- Responsible for accounts receivable as scheduled.
- Analyzing markets demands basis feedback and transactions to develop products and align to the industry trends.
- Ensure all activities that are carried out comply with the company’s regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in communications and customer relations are a necessity.
- Computer literate, Open-minded, and Result Oriented.
- Enjoy working directly with Clients/ Service Providers.
- Degree in Maritime, Supply Chain/Logistics Management, or other relevant disciplines will be considered.
- Chief Engineer experience with Carrier-owned container (COC 1).
- 8 years and above experience in the Marine or relevant industry.
- 5 years and above in a management position.
