Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Full Time Carpenter-Painter who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
The Carpenter-Painter will:
• Regularly address damaged surfaces using sandpaper, wire brushes, or steel
wool; remove old paint from surfaces using paint remover, scrapes, and wire
brushes to prepare surfaces for painting 20%
• Properly fill nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty, plaster, or other filler(s),
including sheetrock and plaster finish 5%
• Paint surfaces using brushes, spray guns, or paint rollers 35%
• Erect scaffolding or ladders; spread cloth or canvas over floors and furniture
to protect them from splattered paint; wash walls as necessary 15%
• Install vinyl base, wall protection, replace floor tiles, and complete similar work
requests 10%
• Perform preventative maintenance as assigned and document work within the
CMMS 10%
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience as painter/carpenter
• Valid US driver’s license required.
Work Schedule:
6:30 am-3:00 pm with one weekend a month required

Tobacco and Drug Statement
Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue.
