As a SURFACE MAINTENANCE REPAIRER (TITLE 32), WG-5801-8, you will perform limited diagnosis, routine repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles. Assist higher graded mechanics in the repair and/or overhaul of major systems to include internal combustion engines, turbine engines, automatic and non-automatic transmissions, heavy duty drive line systems, and hydraulic utility systems and controls. Make routine repairs that can be accomplished by removing, adjusting, or replacing defective or worn parts and components. Perform work in accordance with technical manuals, lubrication orders, maintenance bulletins, regulations or management policies. Perform limited diagnoses to determine the cause of mechanical failures by means of visual and auditory checks and/or uses basic test equipment such as compression testers, voltmeters, ohmmeters and pressure gauges. Determine when parts should be cleaned, adjusted or replaced with standard parts to complete work orders.

PHYSICAL EFFORT: Work is performed in tiring or uncomfortable positions for long periods. There is frequent standing, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, and crouching; or working on top of, under, and in tight compartments or cramped or awkward positions. Performs strenuous work while standing, lying, or sitting. Frequently lifts and carries items, unassisted, weighing up to 40 pounds; and often exerts similar effort in pushing, pulling, and positioning parts, assemblies, and equipment. Frequently lifts and moves heavier items with the assistance of other workers or with lifting devices such as jacks, hoists, and cranes. May be required to work from ladders or work platforms at varying heights.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed both inside and outside. When inside, the incumbent is frequently exposed to drafts, changing temperatures, and noise which is difficult to talk above. When outside, the incumbent is exposed to bad weather, in mud or snow, and in wet or icy areas. The incumbent is frequently exposed to irritations or discomfort from dust, heat, fumes, and hard damp floors or ground. Typically works on parts and systems, which are dirty, oily, or greasy. Frequently exposed to the possibility of cuts, burns, bruises, and sprains while repairing, positioning, and moving equipment. Often exposed to the possibility of falls while repairing, positioning, and moving equipment; and skin irritations from acid, fluids, and lubricants. Accounting and Budget Technical

• Examines, verifies, and maintains financial accounts and accounting data and classifies accounting transactions including the verification of the accuracy and completeness of the accounting data.
• Receives and analyzes various types of documents to determine validity, budget expenditure impact, completeness, and correctness of the budgetary data.
• Determines proper cost centers, budget object codes, appropriations, and fund control points to be entered into the financial system of record. All documents must be reviewed for accuracy prior to obligation of funds.

• Reviews federal travel regulations and VA travel policies to ensure that the correct entitlements are approved for each traveler.

• Assists customers in entering requests for supervisory and SES approval for temporary duty travel (TOY) in compliance with VA travel policy.

• Manages the Employee Travel Card Program and ensures the integrity of the card program.
• Oversees and performs account maintenance such as initiating applications, increasing and decreasing limits, and cancelling or transferring cards.
• Maintains physical security of travel cards that are sent from the bank until they are issued to the user.
• Conducts audits of card activity to include but not limited to misuse of the card during periods of non-travel, unauthorized expenditures during travel, non-payment and delinquent accounts.

• Researches and interprets which appropriation and fund a document and subsequent accounting transactions will affect.
• Works with customers to ensure mission needs are met with adhering to travel regulations and policies
• Communicates with customers in a courteous and respectful manner to assist them with their travel needs and provides timely information on status of travel requests and policy and procedures which will affect travel

The Nursing Clinical Transporter works under the direction of the Transport Supervisor and assigned duties through the Transport Dispatcher to transport supplies, labs, patients, prosthetics, precure stretchers, and wheelchairs in a timely manner.

During downtown, the Nursing Clinical Transporter works to ensure stretchers and wheelchairs are gathered throughout the organization and placed in designated areas. In addition, the encumber continually assess for broken wheelchairs and stretchers, places a work order and takes the unsafe equipment out of patient use.

What you will do

As a Johnson Controls Security Service Technician, you will alleviate concerns the customer may have regarding a security system. You will advise customers and the customer care center of the status of systems and processes inspections. You will inspect fire systems, burglar alarm systems, CCTV, and access.

What you will do: 

Service Technicians diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on card access, CCTV, burglar alarm systems, electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products at customer sites.  

How you will do it:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Patient Related

Education:

• Assist other health care members in providing patient specific detailed education regarding adequacy measures where appropriate - Online Clearance Monitoring (OLC), Adequacy Monitoring Program (AMP), Urea Kinetic Modeling (UKM), and regarding disease process/access.

Treatment:

• Welcome assigned patients and inquire as to their wellbeing since their last treatment.

Staff Related

• Assists in training of applicable direct patient care staff on appropriate programs under the supervision of a nurse.
• Collaborates with the Clinical Manager and Education Coordinator in driving organization quality standards through education regarding all ESRD regulatory and legal requirements and the practice of Continuous Quality Improvement. 
• Provides developmental support to applicable clinical and facility staff. 

Education/Communication:

• Participates in implementing  educational programs for PCT staff including contests and other team-based programs.
• Assists in monitoring processes in the delivery of patient care through regular Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
• Follows all organization business policies, procedures and systems incorporated into training, including compliance with ethical business practices

• Maintain environmental integrity and aesthetics - ensure all areas are safe and clean.
• Clean and disinfect dialysis machine surface, chair, equipment, and surrounding area between treatments according to facility policy.
• Conduct all tasks necessary for preparation for dialysis treatment and document where appropriate and perform all required pretreatment dialysis machine alarm testing including Pressure Holding (PHT).
• Initiate Solution Delivery System (SDS) system.

RECORD KEEPING:

• Complete and document ongoing participation in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
• Enters all treatment data into the designated clinical application in an accurate and timely manner.
• Review treatment sheets for completeness, ensure nursing signatures are documented, and ensure

omitted entries are completed or corrected by appropriate staff.

• Prepare initial patient chart for admission and compile paperwork for appropriate placement in chart.        
• Prepare/print lab requisitions for prescribed or stat Lab specimens according to laboratory destination.      
• Collect, label, appropriately prepare and store lab samples according required laboratory specifications.   
• Ensure collection of lab specimens by appropriate lab courier.   

INFECTION CONTROL:

• Assists in collecting  information for infection control audits.
• Acts as a change agent for infection control practices within clinic. Under the direction of the CM or designee monitors staff and patient adherence to infection control practices.         
• Reinforces new hire employee adherence to infection control Policies and Procedures
• Supports ongoing staff and patient engagement on infection control practices under the direction of CM or designee for example participation in patient lobby days and staff meetings to reinforce infection control practice.
• Participates in and reinforces infection control education of patients and families under the direction of the CM or designee as allowed by state law         

TRANSITIONAL CARE UNIT:

• Follows all newly admitted patients through their first 4 weeks of dialysis and coordinating their transitional dialysis care   
• Reinforces all education and care related matters as it relates to the new patient as allowed by state law
• Liaisons with appropriate FKC staff members to provide the best patient experience including making sure all disciplines are scheduled to see patient according to plan.        
• Assists in assuring patient understanding or home dialysis products, benefits of home and how home dialysis can work for them.      
• Sets and preforms a treatment on all machines used in the transitional care unit.
• Assist in assuring patient understanding of treatment options including demonstration of the peritoneal dialysis set-up.
• Assists with coordination of transition to patient’s modality choice.         
• Assists with supply ordering and inventory for TCU

• Under Pharmacist guidance and per company policies and procedures, assists with dispensing of products and performs general pharmacy technician duties as follows:

  • Monitors the drug file in the software application and prepares prescriptions for packaging/distribution.
  • Retrieves count and obtains prescription drugs, devices, and related materials from stock.
  • Counts and fills patient prescriptions based on order.

Patient Related

Education:

• Assist other health care members in providing patient specific detailed education regarding adequacy measures where appropriate - Online Clearance Monitoring (OLC), Adequacy Monitoring Program (AMP), Urea Kinetic Modeling (UKM), and regarding disease process/access.

Treatment:

• Welcome assigned patients and inquire as to their wellbeing since their last treatment.
• Evaluate vascular access for patency, perform vascular access cannulation, and perform administration of heparin as delegated or as allowed by state law.
• Obtain necessary pre and post treatment vital signs and weight and perform vascular access evaluation pre- treatment
• Initiate dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders including blood flow (QB) and dialysate flow (QD).         
• Evaluate intradialytic problems and provide intervention as prescribed by physician order or as directed.   
• Monitor patients’ response to dialysis therapy.

• Record accurate and timely information regarding vital signs and treatment parameters onto the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet with initial identification      
• Responsible for accurate documentation of information related to patient treatment including completion of Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet and, if applicable, progress notes.         
• Report any significant information and/or change in patient condition directly to the registered nurse or supervisor.
• Observe patient and conduct machine safety checks according to facility policy. Report any change or unusual findings to the registered nurse or supervisor.
• Perform and document any intervention for unusual patient status and document patients' response to intervention.
• Evaluate patients’ vascular access during treatment including arterial and venous monitoring pressures, provide appropriate intervention as needed, document and report any unusual findings to the registered nurse or supervisor.
• Obtain all prescribed laboratory testing and prepare specimens for collection.      
• Ensure that all blood spills are immediately cleaned with appropriate disinfectant according to facility policy.       
• Prepare, organize, and efficiently utilize supplies and equipment to prevent wastage.

Staff Related

• Assists in training of applicable direct patient care staff on appropriate programs under the supervision of a nurse.

Education/Communication:

• Follows all organization business policies, procedures and systems incorporated into training, including compliance with ethical business practices

• Maintain environmental integrity and aesthetics - ensure all areas are safe and clean.
• Clean and disinfect dialysis machine surface, chair, equipment, and surrounding area between treatments according to facility policy.

• Initiate Solution Delivery System (SDS) system.

RECORD KEEPING:

• Complete and document ongoing participation in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.  
• Enters all treatment data into the designated clinical application in an accurate and timely manner.           
• Review treatment sheets for completeness, ensure nursing signatures are documented, and ensure

omitted entries are completed or corrected by appropriate staff.

• Prepare initial patient chart for admission and compile paperwork for appropriate placement in chart.

INFECTION CONTROL:

TRANSITIONAL CARE UNIT:

• Follows all newly admitted patients through their first 4 weeks of dialysis and coordinating their transitional dialysis care 
• Reinforces all education and care related matters as it relates to the new patient           as allowed by state law
• Liaisons with appropriate FKC staff members to provide the best patient experience including making sure all disciplines are scheduled to see patient according to plan.      
• Assists in assuring patient understanding or home dialysis products, benefits of home and how home dialysis can work for them.
• Sets and preforms a treatment on all machines used in the transitional care unit.
• Assist in assuring patient understanding of treatment options including demonstration of the peritoneal dialysis set-up.
• Assists with coordination of transition to patient’s modality choice.         
• Assists with supply ordering and inventory for TCU

What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is looking for a Technical Control candidate in a challenging and fluid work environment at US Central Command, MacDill AFB, FL.  The candidate will provide Tier I/II support to maintain connectivity for hundreds of devices supporting thousands of users including critical “VIPs” and multiple, autonomous, secure networks. This position is contingent upon pending contract award.

Duties:

- Prioritize daily work tasks.

- Provide Tier I/II support for all tech control devices in HQ the AOR on multiple, autonomous, secure networks.

- Assist and coordinate with other critical IT sections within the Division to execute on tasks involving projects, troubleshooting, maintenance, and implementation of new services, devices, or connections.

- Travel the AOR when necessary to support IT services at Forward locations.
