We are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for MECHANICAL TECHNICIANS to further their career in a diverse, ever-growing environment, and join our team of professionals on a full time and permanent basis. This position will be based in QLD and NSW.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical equipment, such as pumps, motors, conveyors, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Installation: Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment manuals, and service history.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, and report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and optimize equipment performance.
Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on repaired or maintained equipment to ensure it meets quality standards.
Mechanical Knowledge: A strong understanding of mechanical systems, including the principles of motion, gears, bearings, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Electrical Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical components of numerical controlled machines.
Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues with numerical controlled machines efficiently, may include setup and testing to confirm machines are in working condition.
Preventive Maintenance: Experience in conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure numeric controlled machines are in great working conditions.
Tools and Equipment: Competency in using a wide range of hand and power tools, including tools in maintenance of numerical machines.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Knowledge in wide variety of machine diagnostics software highly regarded
Documentation skills, must be able to maintain accurate records of maintenance service history
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Safety-conscious mindset.
Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable
Must have great work ethics
