• You will lead and monitor performance along with the progress of assigned work of junior engineering technicians and shop planners at the GS-12 level or below.
• You will ensure products and services are fully aligned with Engineering Technical Authority (ETA) responsibilities and local expectations.
• You will identify and evaluate risks.
• You will utilize resources to support efforts with other engineering technical codes, Quality Assurance Department's Receipt Inspection Division, and the Supply Department to resolve technical issues associated with material.
• You will review material test reports, certificates of conformance, determine material compliance with specifications and requirements, and liaison with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
• You will make determinations of First Article Testing requirements and prioritize workload and resources to support project and production shop schedules and Short- and Long-Range View while minimizing work stoppages.
• You will be responsible for the resolution of quality technical material issues for controlled and non-controlled material and various processes used by Engineering, Receipt Inspection, and Production codes.

• Provide direct surgical support of a highly specialized nature to patients undergoing surgery including the newest and most complex, state-of-the-art procedures in multi-specialties.
• Select, assemble, and organize required supplies (setup, connect, test, operate drills, saws, etc.) and instruments for specific surgical procedures.
• Pass instruments and equipment to the surgeon during surgical procedures by anticipating the surgeon’s needs.
• Verify whether the counts are correct or incorrect and communicate with the circulating nurse throughout the case to insure no items are retained in the surgical wound.
• Clean or terminate operating room after surgical procedures. Remove and properly dispose of soiled and/or contaminated linens/materials.

• Perform daily quality assurance testing on all equipment used in the cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments.
• Select appropriate chemical or washing agent necessary for decontaminating or cleaning surgical instruments.
• Assemble, inspect and package instrumentation appropriately by their instruction of use.
• Sterile storage of instrumentation, pulling case carts, inventory stock, removing or replacing damaged supplies/sets.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures of the Department of Health, The Joint Commission, OSHA and other industry standards and regulations, as well as those of medical treatment facility.
• Check the expiration date on all sterile supply items, removes all outdated items, and rotate the stock.
• Inventory emergency procedural carts, scanned into instrument tracking system and lock with proper lock.
• Replenish case carts to retain the established quota level for each item on the cart.
• Interpret test results, take appropriate action based on results and log all results.

• You will provide consultation to clients with recommendations and plans for the existing assets or land.
• You will lead multi-functional teams as the project scope is identified and implemented.
• You will develop project documentation (DD 1391) that includes project scope, cost estimates and supporting documentation.
• You will identify and validate Warfighter and supporting command emergent and long term mission requirements and translates them into land, facility, and infrastructure requirements.

• Screens and interviews patients, and performs biological, psychological, and social evaluations.

• Performs appropriate individual, adult, group, and couples therapies and/or makes recommendations in writing to referring sources for management of the patients or placement in the appropriate treatment setting.
• Determines the facts concerning patients’ problems and the underlying causes to assess the needs of the individual and/or family.
• Exercises full professional responsibility in psychological consultation, education, and training to military commanders/senior leaders, other mental health professionals, and medical staff.
• Provides training to mental health treatment team and professional medical staff.
• Serves as consultant to community resources and other on and off installation resources and recognized as the authority on mental health care for the Medical Health Clinic.

Role - Service and Repair Technician

Pay Rate - £18 - £25 per hour (dependent on level of experience needed)
Shift hours will be Dayshift hours as Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:45 and Friday 08:00 - 12:00

Location - Portsmouth

Candidate required for maintenance on manufacturing machines. Experience in environment preferred.
Purpose of the Job to Support, maintain and improve production equipment to maximise manufacturing availability.

Principal Responsibilities
-

• To maintain production equipment to ensure maximum uptime target of 95% availability.
• To promptly identify root cause of equipment failure and implement subsequent repair.
• To manage an existing Planned Maintenance system, perform tasks to predetermined schedule, identifying potential operator owned tasks to sustain process uptime & maximise capacity.
• To manage PM system & calibration of production test systems.
• To identify & ensure sufficient spares are available to provide adequate response time regarding component failure
• To specify and implement improvements to the production process or equipment to achieve cost, productivity or quality benefits.
• To ensure process, equipment and ergonomic risk assessments are completed where necessary.
  Ensuring timely completion of HSE actions
• To write technical documents to define procedures, including cell maintenance instructions including defining of TPM schedules
• To liaise with identified external partners/vendors regarding technical aspects of production equipment and spares.
• To design or detail necessary jigs and fixtures.
• Ensuring timely completion of Kaizen ideas

Education Required (academic and/or technical education)

• Literacy and Numeracy.
• A broad range of qualifications may be acceptable; however, it is envisaged that there should be a sound Engineering background with a demonstrable ability, ideally supported by a recognised Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship. An ONC/HNC in an Engineering discipline would be advantageous.
• Computer literate - experience with MS Office
• Electrical installation qualification to a Minimum of 17th Edition desirable.

Work Experience Required (area and length of experience)

• A minimum of three years' experience in a medium to high volume production environment will be required.
• Technical Skills & Specific Knowledge Required (specific skills and knowledge required for the position)
• Practical experience with a hands-on and methodical approach to mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis/analysis with the ability to use diagnostic tools/equipment.
• The ability to communicate effectively with internal customers and external suppliers both on technical matters and general levels
• Proven working knowledge of assembly automation including diagnosing pneumatic system logic
• Previous experience of installation/testing, & fault finding of electrical systems and Experience of PLC program and control system interrogation would be an advantageous.
