Vehicle Technician - Huddersfield

Salary - £38,000 Basic + £2,400 pa Bonus + Training Bonus + Overtime OTE 43k

Hours - Monday - Friday, 42 hours per week, Saturdays on a rota

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles across the brand
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI or City and Guilds level 3 ideally but we will also consider level 2 with experience

As a Vehicle Technician / Mot Tester, you will play a pivotal role in performing vehicle maintenance tasks as required.

What we are looking for:

- Previously worked as a Vehicle Technician, MOT Tester, Vehicle Mechanic, MOT Mechanic or in a similar role.

- Ideally have experience in a franchised dealership.

- Must possess IMI Level 3 certification.

- Understanding of vehicle developments, new engine types and electronics.

- Skilled in using an electronic Vehicle Health Check (VHC) system.

- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Shifts:

- Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm

- Alternate Saturday mornings
