• Provide nursing care to low and high-risk obstetrical patients and their newborn infants.

• Independently formulate full treatment plans based on sound evaluation and diagnoses consistent with current and/ or evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.
• Coordinate with facility and community resources to provide multi- disciplinary comprehensive care to all patients.
• Perform emergency services or crisis intervention, including life-saving emergency procedures when necessary.
• Serve as member of the professional medical staff and/ or faculty to provide advisory and consultative services on various meetings, committees, conferences, and/ or boards.
• Evaluate the care provided to patients at Military Treatment Facility.
• Advise on difficult or complex cases.
• Serve as a member of the faculty for the Family Medicine Residency Program.

• Perform a variety of receptionist/clerical duties, scheduling appointments, and inputting data into a Computer System.
• Maintain supply inventory, orders, and restocks supply area.
• Determine type of specimen to be collected, (e.g., urine, serum or plasma).
• Perform blood collection by applying knowledge of human anatomy, aseptic and sterile techniques and phlebotomy equipment.
• Draw and/or collect blood samples and properly labels tubes, ensuring quantity of sample is sufficient for tests to be performed.
• Process a wide variety of laboratory specimens collected from various sites for shipment to civilian or military reference laboratories IAW standard operating procedures.

Starting at $41,260 Per Year (GS 5)

• Clean and set up dining facility.

About the RoleWorking in a team on a rota basis (06:30-15:00 and 14:30-22:30 rotating weekly), our Facilities Officers open and close the college buildings, assist with managing student behaviour, supervise and delegate cleaning duties to a team of cleaning staff, assist with any caretaker/porter services and any minor maintenance related issues and ensure the college is a safe and secure environment for learners, staff and other users.
Facilities Officers are trained to become part of the College’s First Aid rota when on duty, for which there is an additional payment of £500 per annum (paid monthly) once training is completed.
Facilities Officers are also required to be on the On-Call escalation rota for the buildings on a rotational basis (currently 1 week in 6) and work a Saturday shift with paid breaks (currently 1 week in 6).
About the PersonWe require a flexible person who can work independently, and as part of a team, to provide and maintain the security, cleanliness, and efficient running of the college buildings. Previous experience in a similar role is not required, however, the successful candidate will need to be hardworking and dedicated to learning from on-the-job-training. Full training will be supplied, where required/needed.
