You will be responsible for managing the effective maintenance and refurbishment of mobile and semi-permanent assets of the business from budget to completion. Ensuring all work adheres to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
- Developing maintenance & refurb budgets for all assets
- Create annual refurb & maintenance schedules
- Delegate tasks to team members and/or contractors
- Quarterly H & S audits and reporting to identify areas requiring maintenance & refurb of all assets at HQ and various sites
- Prepare and submit H & S documents for required work need to be conducted on site
- Manage procurement of all required components and materials
- Implement an effective fault/ defect reporting system for assets in use at events
- Reacting effectively in a timely manner to reported issues
- Supervising team members and contractors, ensuring they follow safe work practices and compliance directives/guidelines.
- Scheduling contractors as required to support the maintenance team
- Sign off of maintenance work completed prior to deployment at events
- Support the build team with in-house projects when required

Candidate Attributes:
- A good understanding about general build and compliance. Gas, electrical and plumbing regulations is advantageous
- A good understanding of industry standards and regulations
- Good verbal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to translate complex information
- Organisational skills for scheduling maintenance tasks and ensuring job completion, even during emergencies
- Attention to detail, ensuring maintenance tasks are not overlooked and minor site problems do not become major site problems
- Excellent understanding of reporting procedures and record-keeping
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

About the role…
We are looking for an enthusiastic HGV Vehicle Technician to join our hard-working, highly successful team. Providing excellent front line services, Ubico is a rapidly expanding local authority owned Company.
Reporting to the Fleet Workshop & Maintenance Manager, you will carry out inspections, servicing, repairing, maintaining HGV and light vehicles, plant and equipment to required standards in line with Compliance and Health & Safety regulations and procedures.

You will need…


City & Guild Craft Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent
Experience of understanding vehicle inspections, servicing and repairing of motor vehicles; working on a mixed fleet would be a distinct advantage.
Good communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and a flexible approach to work
Full valid driving licence

The business produces quality products used across many industries and operates their production facility on a 24/7 basis. Due to their growth and their continuous production, they are looking for an additional Maintenance Engineer to join on a triple days shift pattern, Mornings 6-2; afternoons 2-10 and evenings 10-6.
Your new roleAs a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for upkeeping the smooth operation of maintenance for the business's manufacturing equipment. You will play a pivotal role as part of the maintenance team where you will deliver on both planned maintenance and reactive maintenance activities.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Perform reactive and preventative maintenance
• Repair and diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issues with machinery

• Continuous improvement of maintenance procedures

Working Hours:
