A full UK Driving License is essential as travel is required.

Key Responsibilities:
You will complete residential and occasional commercial planned and reactive HIU related installation and maintenance activities with a balance of hands-on and managing appropriate resources, for all mechanical, electrical issues that impact/are likely to impact on the operational performance of the District Heating Network (DHN) and communal heating schemes throughout the Exeter, Reading, Bath and Southampton region.
- Conducting HIU installation and maintenance activities
- Servicing and breakdown resolution
- Implementing upgrades and new installations
- Commissioning of heating systems
- Undertaking general plumbing and heating work (HVAC)
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Following correct working processes and maintaining accurate visit records
Key Skill Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, with significant expertise in general plumbing and mechanical work; basic electrical skills are advantageous
- Valid driving license is essential
- Domestic gas boiler experience with relevant gas safety registration is advantageous
- Experience with HIUs and DHNs is a plus
- Ability to innovate and improve efficiency
- Willingness to contribute to the growth of the industry
- Competence in understanding risk assessments, procedures, and processes
- IT skills and confidence in using computers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill
