Your new role
Working as an Account Handler( Technician)
you will be responsible for producing documentation including Open market MRC slips and endorsements as well as some BAA slips + Endorsements. You will be responsible for preparing and typing of letters / emails and other correspondence, maintaining online filing and archiving systems, Entering Data onto the Global system as well as obtaining Bureau Signings and arranging extension to terms of trade. Other duties will include dealing with queries from Brokers and clients as well as calculating Profit Commissions & E2I's. You will be encouraged to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, supporting them with all technical issues and queries.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician/ Broker Support Technician handling NA or International Non Marine or Property
business who has experience in the production of MRC slips will contribute to your success. You will be technically astute, highly literate with excellent planning, time management and organisation skills alongside your drive and motivation will allow you to adapt well into a diverse and growing team

Overall Job Purpose:Provide support on the IT Service Desk, table top support and appropriate training for local computer hardware, software and networking including logging, diagnosis, installation, maintenance, support and training for IT systems.Principle Duties/Accountabilities Behave as the County Council's liaison for ICT issues including receiving reports of software glitches and cyber risks and coordinating the response.
Prepare an appropriate image for Windows PCs and maintain a computer system that reconfigures refs across the school network.
Maintain policies, rules and settings on the school's Active Directory domain along with central software such as print management systems and special software licensing.
Accept, research and prioritise ICT calls to the school's ICT Helpdesk.
Support printer problems, replace Toner/Jams and assist contractors in need of on-site machine update/replacement.

Attend technical forums and pilot technology and systems in collaboration with IOACC ICT team. Required as soon as possible, a Site Facilities Officer to join our team. This role will be predominantly based at The Boulevard Academy. However, may be required to cover across all sites within our Trust.
Main duties for the role include site security, health and safety, covering school events, lettings and general maintenance duties. The role will be expected to provide on-call service on a rota basis to cover an alarm activation at one or more of our schools – additional pay is available for this.

Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Technician will require you to manage own workload and time to maximise efficiency and be able to manage a team by mentoring, training and guiding members of the team. You will report to the Binding Authority Director. Duties will include undertaking ongoing communication with colleagues to ensure timely and accurate production of documentation, chasing and monitoring premiums under terms of trade, diarising, tracking and chasing subjectivities, proposal forms and surveys. Other duties include developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues within the division and across the company, actively participating in regular team discussions and acting as a point of contact for junior members of the team. Further duties include processing and producing debit notes and closings as well as submitting to Bureaux, maintaining electronic filing systems, making and reconciling payments to Bureau under terms of trade, liaising with clients and Underwriters, dealing with complex issues and queries from brokers and clients. Also, providing regular feedback to the reporting manager, ensuring compliance with rules and procedures, assisting with special projects, proactively networking to expand market knowledge and recording Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience as a Senior Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have at least 5 years of insurance experience and proven and practical experience of applying competencies to a level outlined above. You will also need 5 GCSEs at C or 5 and above or A Levels, including Maths and English and Lloyd's Market LM1 and LM2. Desirably you will be working towards your ACII, but it is not essential.
