Duties include but not limited to the following:
- Troubleshoots problems with Education Training Software and inputs and assigns user access and provides training to users as instructed.
- Runs various reports for VANTHCS offices as requested.
- Coordinates administrative activities for the financial support of staff active at VANTHCS. Coordinates with all services on documentation required by the Nursing Education & Academia in collaboration with Hospital education and Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) for financial support of staff.
- Provides program administrative, and clerical support in Nursing Education & Academia Service as directed, to include answering phone inquiries for Education Service, preparing needs assessments, preparing and assembling various education materials to include binders and surveys as instructed, securing space for training and meetings, maintaining records, ensuring that proper video equipment is requested and support from Information Technology Service is secured.
- Schedules conference rooms and assigns keys. Collects and analyzes data for the purpose of preparing various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Performs duties related to providing Onboarding Support Service for staff at VANTHCS. These duties include working with the staff of the Nursing Education & Academia Support Service at VANTHCS for program planning, scheduling, implementation, evaluation and tracking of educational programs/activities and conducting New Employee Orientation Nursing (NEON).
- Serves as the primary point of contact for local users of the online learning system and responsible to keep up with all the meeting minutes, monthly newsletter for Nursing Education & Academia. Assist and monitors training of new nursing and academia administrators and serves as a superuser, as necessary.
- Provides audiovisual support for relevant programs and meetings, ensuring availability of functional equipment, reliable operation, and technical guidance to users at the point of program delivery.
- Assists the Program Specialist in developing and maintaining Nursing Academic Affiliations by preparing all affiliation and application documents for signature as directed. Maintains database of all current Nursing Academic Affiliations and WOC trainees and collects and analyzes data for the purpose of preparing various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Serves as Automated Data Processing Applications Coordinator (ADPAC) for Nursing Education & Academia Service. Keeps a database record of all equipment and EIL annually. Incumbent completes missing equipment reports annually to reconcile the equipment. Keeps Nursing Education & Academia Service personnel informed of important computer related issues.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. May be required to work other shifts, be on call, work weekends and/or holidays as patient care and needs of the service require. Should operational needs dictate, candidates must be willing to work within other units (including community based outpatient clinics, for example) to assist and support continuation of the provision of care/services.
