Job Title: Field Technician
We are seeking a physically fit individual who owns a car, holds a valid driver’s license, and is eager to learn. This role offers hands-on experience in the inspection, repair, and maintenance of various assets, with a strong focus on ground and civil works. The ideal candidate will have experience operating 360 excavators, and will find ample opportunities for skill development in this dynamic position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily inspections, repairs, and maintenance of assets, ensuring all tasks meet high standards.
• Operate 360 excavators and dumpers safely and efficiently as part of routine and project-based tasks.
• Collaborate closely with the scheduling team and management to optimize productivity and efficiency.
• Provide daily feedback to assist in minimizing environmental compliance issues.
• Offer technical support to customers and colleagues as needed.
• Manage workload efficiently to maintain flexibility and productivity across various tasks.
• Conduct a variety of duties, including meter installation, tank cleaning, and general site maintenance.
Experience and Skills Required:
• Physically fit, with a car and valid driver’s license.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in asset maintenance, with a strong focus on ground and civil works.
Essential: Experience operating 360 excavators and dumpers.
• Experience in civil works, plumbing, or similar fields is highly desirable.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to organize and plan work efficiently, with a flexible approach to changes in work arrangements.
• Comfortable using a computer or smartphone for work-related tasks.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay overnight for training as required.
• Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team approach.
Qualifications:
• Experience in O&M activities or working with water/sewage assets is an advantage.
• Proficiency in safely using tools and equipment, particularly 360 excavators and dumpers.
• Basic knowledge of risk assessments.
