At University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust we are currently recruiting for an experienced Deputy Facilities Managerto join our Estates and Facilities Division providing a hands on management style to the Cleaning/Catering teams at Bristol Royal Infirmary
This is an exciting opportunity to join us and continue to develop yourself as a facilities management professional in this forward thinking Division. The Estates and Facilities Division are recognised for making a difference by enabling, by getting things done and never walking by an opportunity to challenge or improve the service we provide to both patients and colleagues.
The shift pattern is Monday – Friday, with one Saturday as Duty Manager
Day to day tasks may include:-
• Manage thefront line cleaningteams, cleaning wards and other clinical areas, departments, and outer areas.
• Conducting investigations, writing case reports and presenting to senior managers
• Ensuring your 100+ strong team are achieving key performance indicators in areas such as cleanliness, food hygiene and mandatory training
• Manage a team of 4 cleaning senior supervisors to ensure standards are maintained throughout the building
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience of managing and motivating large teams in a facilities/soft FM/housekeeping environment
• Have experience in a fast paced cleaning environment and be able to demonstrate technical understanding of the services provided i.e cleaning, catering
• Be professionally skilful in focusing on opportunities that exceeds the perceived expectations of the services provided
• Have sound resilience management
