Amazing opportunity to join a leading defence company in the production space. Your new company Working with like-minded engineers on an existing project, this position provides ample amounts of upskilling and growth. You will gain exposure working in a state-of-the-art facility alongside talented engineers with exceptional mentoring. Your new role The senior production technician will work with the wider team and communicate with key stakeholders in the business. This role requires someone who has some experience in mentoring teams or is willing to take the next step-up in their career. Key Responsibilities;
Working with the wider team to support assembly and training
Be involved in the development process, support changes and production goals
Monitor and evaluate process performance, making continuous improvements as necessary.
Mentor team members and develop their skill sets
Deliver across continuous improvements, manufacturing processes and improving efficiency.
Support the implementation of quality control measures to minimise defects and ensure product reliability.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualifications in relevant (mechanical or mechatronics)
Previous experience in a defence or aerospace manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
A strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes. Continuous improvement mindset.
Able to work in highly demanding environments to meet customer deadlines.
Australian citizenship
