GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Maintains safety and structure of the milieu, observing and recording patient information pertinent to the treatment plan and reports information to appropriate staff.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to provide for an on-going assessment of changes in patient status and gathers pertinent patient care data using all available resources; provides crisis intervention to maintain safety (40%)
• Provides direct patient care and activities, such as activities of daily living, vital signs, specimen collection, assistance with exams, treatments and procedures and patient focused testing; group facilitation, reports any changes in physical, mental, or emotional conditions to nursing staff and documents same; suggests modifications to the master treatment plan (40%)
• Leads or co-leads in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities that enhance patient's social relationships and interpersonal skills (15%)
• Participates in unit activities such as supplies stocking, patient transport, and equipment / appliance cleaning, checks and retrieval. (5%)
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
• Child Abuse Clearance, CPR Certification, Criminal Background Clearance
• Non-violent crisis intervention required within six months of hire

The Major Infrastructure Project Business Unit has been formed to oversee a portfolio of work which includes the development and implementation of a Strategic Plan to meet the infrastructure requirements for the next 30 years.

Within the business unit, you will join The User Acceptance Group (UAG), we are a team that set requirements from the user perspective for new infrastructure projects that specialise in Submarine and/or facility maintenance work.

The role
As a Senior Submarine Repair Specialist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will play a crucial part in the creation and delivery of our multimillion-pound infrastructure projects, representing the future teams who will ultimately use the new facilities.

Day to day, you'll set the user requirements by supporting the optioneering and development of design solutions to ensure they will enable efficient delivery of submarine projects. Using your developed experience, you will contribute towards the whole infrastructure project lifecycle, from the initial or pre-concept phase right through design and ultimately the build, commissioning, and handover phases.

Projects you'll directly be involved in are:

• 10 Dock - The biggest dry dock at Devonport and Babcock Marine
• 5 Basin East Wall major facility upgrade
• ASTUTE Class fleet time dockings upgrade project
• PWR1 defuel campaign.
• Other projects focussed on site wide facilities such as CCTV, SCADA and Demin water distribution through to supporting initiatives such as the Integrated Logistics Hub

This role is 35 hours a week, hybrid position with the expectation to be on site in Devonport every Monday.

Essential experience of the Senior Submarine Repair Specialist:

• Extensive experience in nuclear submarine operations and maintenance and/or nuclear facilities maintenance.

Qualifications for the Senior Submarine Repair Specialist:

It is desirable for you to hold a Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with a route to chartered engineer status. However, we can consider one of the following: Indentured Apprenticeship/Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship/Level 3 Engineering qualification with proven industry experience.

Lower qualifications will be considered if adequate job experience and subject matter knowledge can be satisfactorily demonstrated.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.

Senior Maintenance Technician

The Sr. Maintenance Technician ensures equipment uptime through timely, in-depth troubleshooting
and repair of all equipment failures. The Sr. Maintenance Technician shares knowledge of all production
equipment to maintenance team and Operators. The Sr. Maintenance Technician acts as a subject
matter expert on behalf of the plant in at least one of the following equipment areas: injection molders,
blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers and/or stretch wrappers. The
Sr. Maintenance Technician performs troubleshooting and repair of facilities and auxiliary equipment
such as chillers, air compressors, Reverse Osmosis, other water filtration equipment and general
maintenance of the plant. Sr. Maintenance Technician works directly with Maintenance Technicians,
machine Operators, Supervisors, and Managers to resolve mechanical issues. The Sr. Maintenance
Technician develops and implements best practices aligned with Niagara’s maintenance strategies.
Through the use of preventative and predictive maintenance processes, the Sr. Maintenance Technician
champions continuous improvement efforts and assists with training in their designated focus areas.

Essential Functions

• Adhere to and enforce highest standards in safety and good manufacturing practices plant-wide

• Train and lead Operators, Mechanics and Supervisors on technical procedures related to high-speed

   bottle manufacturing and packaging

• Work directly with plant leadership to develop and execute projects involving continuous        improvement, upgrades, and the resolution of re-occurring problems

• Rapid identification of machine problems to minimize equipment downtime with root cause

   analysis conducted to prevent re-occurrence

• Partner with other Sr. Maintenance Technician to resolve cross-functional problems

• Use of available software systems to analyze and identify issues to drive throughput

   performance

• Define requirements and lead overhaul efforts to rebuild equipment to like-new status during

   planned downtime

• Transfer knowledge to Niagara team members to develop operating and troubleshooting

   procedures in the following areas of bottling production specialization:

o Blow molding, inclusive of PET processing, machine set-up, mold changes, and quality

                  inspection systems

o Filling/capping, beverage processing methods, cap feeding systems with light closures,

vision inspections systems and laser date coders, quality/sanitation standards, and conveying                             systems

o Labeling technology, roll-fed and/or cut and stack, machine set-up, hot melt gluing systems,

                 and conveying systems

o Dry-end packaging including case packers, case conveyors, conventional and robotic

                  palletizers, and stretch wrappers. Machine set-up required for all pack size changes

o Common OEM’s for production equipment: Krones, Sidel, KHS, Sacmi, Tech Long

• Transfer knowledge to Niagara team members to develop operating and troubleshooting procedures in the following areas of injection technology:

o Husky injection molding machines consisting of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical

                  systems

o Auxiliary systems including resin handling/blending, resin drying, dehumidification, vision

                  inspection, conveying, and cooling systems

o Mold systems, internal hot runner and cold half maintenance, identification of component

                  wear and troubleshooting through detailed inspection of produced products

o Plastic processing at high speeds while maintaining tight part tolerances and acceptable

                  levels of acetaldehyde (AA)

• Create SOP’s for troubleshooting machines, and upload them to BDA system; responsibility for machine reliability and meantime before failure

What you will do
Johnson Controls has a phenomenal opportunity for a Senior Sprinkler Service Technician! You will have the chance to respond to emergency sprinkler service calls as you are dispatched from our call center.  This will include troubleshooting sprinkler head leaks, valve work, pipe breaks, fire pumps and backflow equipment.  This role is also responsible for deficiency repair work involving the repairs of sprinkler items found to be deficient during inspections. There’s a schedule requirement of one week on a rotating schedule. This position is based in New Cumberland, PA, and will require local travel to customer locations and sites.

How you will do it

• Perform the installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems

• Maintain proper documentation for work performed and must adhere to company safety policies and procedures

• Use applications on mobile device to close calls and debrief paperwork

• Receive verbal and written instructions, as well as provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices

• Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs

• Perform physical labor; perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

What we look for

• 5+ years of fire sprinkler service experience
