Job Purpose

As a Facilities Management Executive, you will oversee the management of facilities of Strides Premier. Your primary responsibilities include planning and supervising preventive maintenance and daily operations to create a conducive and safe working environment. Management & Administration

• Assist the Building Services Manager with the delivery of both hard and soft FM services across the depot and to deputise in her absence.
• Manage the in-house repairs service including supervision of the maintenance operative and carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Assist the Building Service Manager with major FM projects
• Conduct site inspections in order to proactively identify issues and faults and ensure that the site is health and safety compliant and fit for purpose.
• Monitor and control expenditure on building materials and FM consumables
• Conduct weekly and monthly tests on fire equipment, generators, hydrant pumps, etc.

To provide assistance in the provision of pharmacy aseptic services at RSCH for patients within the Trust including: supervision of staff, organisation of day to day activities, preparation of cytotoxic products, worksheet and label preparation and monitoring of the environment. Main Responsibilities: Participate in co-ordinating the activities for the aseptic unit, managing staff placement and ensuring safe working practices within the unit. Ensure that aseptic duties are carried out according to national standards Work towards achieving regional/national accreditations e.g. Pre and In Process Checking (PIPC) as specified in the Assistant Strategy, and maintain an up to date portfolio of evidence to meet CPD requirements of the accreditation. Work towards achieving A1 assessor qualification and maintain an up to date portfolio of evidence to meet A1 NVQ assessor requirements. Act as a role-model and provide a positive mentoring experience for new and junior staff. Act as line manager for designated member(s) of staff taking responsibility for performance review and objective setting in line with Trust policies. Senior Facilities Supervisor

We are looking for 1 Full Time Senior Facilities Supervisor to join us.

The weekly structure is as follows:

1 x 37.5 hours per week Mon – Fri 12:00-20:00



To be responsible for the control and organisation of all Facilities departmental staff. Ensuring the effective and efficient day-to-day delivery of facilities services to patients, staff and visitors. Take responsibility for the functions and duties associated with soft Facilities Management services including other functions agreed with the Head of Facilities.

Work closely with other Facilities services teams as well as clinical and non-clinical service colleagues, to ensure an integrated approach to achieve an effective service and a high standard of patient care.

The post holder is expected to meet the national specifications for cleanliness in the NHS, maintaining cleaning and housekeeping standards. Experience in a similar role would be desirable but enthusiasm and experience of working in a team are equally important.
