Works under general supervision of the Supervisory Program Analyst (Chief Technical Development and Training) in the Army Recreation Machine Program. Create, update, and completes HQ technical documents and assignments related to research, documentation, testing, evaluating, and maintaining gaming devices and related equipment. Researches, identifies, and tests new and current gaming products. Maintains laboratory test equipment and machines in working condition. Assists in development and publishing of organization gaming machine technical SOPs, including security procedures, organization technical memoranda and bulletins related to operation of gaming machines and supporting peripheral equipment.

Researches and stays abreast of developing technology and gaming machine applications. Develops processes to test and validate that operational systems and data support systems are secure and operating properly. When directed, conducts periodic quality control inspections of field operations to ensure compliance with SOPs, technical memoranda, technical bulletins, and machine/network security. Provide technical support and guidance to district staff as required. Evaluate and troubleshoot technical compatibility of gaming devices with Slot Management System (SMS). Liaise with vendors to coordinate troubleshooting and solutions for known issues. Maintain an in-depth technical knowledge and understanding of gaming devices and related infrastructure. Proactively stay abreast of the latest industry, gaming technologies, and solutions. Fully conversant with all gaming equipment installed in the locations. Perform administrative duties such as typing technical memorandums (TM) for the gaming products, writing Concept of Operations for new ideas to be implemented. Also, responsible for parts ordering and requisitions of gaming equipment. Document in detail gaming devices problems and present resolutions for future reference. Support user acceptance testing and communicate solutions to peers and supervisors. Uses diagnostic and analytical tools to troubleshoot, isolate, and remedy both mechanical and electronic engineering problems with gaming equipment and supporting peripherals.

Tests, evaluates, and distributes gaming machine software and firmware in a secure and verifiable fashion. Develops and conducts standardized training for all organization Field Service Technicians and Supervisors. Interprets technical guidance from State Gaming Licensing Boards and independent Testing Laboratories. Manages projects related to testing and fielding of new gaming machines and/or peripheral equipment. Maintains ongoing communication and ensures ongoing coordination with commercial vendors of gaming machine products. Evaluates and recommends adoption of new technical systems and equipment that support enhanced business operations to enhance revenues and/or reduce operating expenses. Assures property and resources are protected against fraud, waste, abuse or misappropriation.

Evaluate and maintain proper internal control standards in conjunction with standard Army policies. Take immediate corrective action to correct any identified deficiencies. Support Army and ARMP procedures and guidance to identify potential areas of risk for theft or loss of funds or assets and initiates corrective actions.

Dow has an exciting job opportunity for a Senior Research & Development (R&D) Technician in the Reaction Engineering discipline within Core R&D Engineering and Process Science in Freeport, Texas

The Reaction Engineering lab conducts experimental research using automated tubular, fixed bed, and stirred tank systems equipped with various analytical techniques from on-line gas chromatography, in situ Raman and FTIR to heat flow calorimetry. Partnerships with Business R&D and manufacturing provide a consistent flow of new challenging projects across an array of process technologies.
This role is in the Lake Jackson Texas Innovation Center, E.C. Britton building and you will partner with Reaction Engineers and the leadership applying exceptional mechanical skills to conduct research with variety of reactor systems. You will be a self-starter with attention to detail and is eager to learn new areas of laboratory reactors and analytical equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Works as part of a team in a laboratory supporting engineers in developing, screening and commercializing new processes. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, manage timelines, and interact effectively with numerous team members of diverse background is critical.
• Manages and then safely executes laboratory work requests, building, maintaining, operating and troubleshooting relevant laboratory apparatus and testing equipment and documenting data in Electronic Lab Notebook.
• Develops experimental plans for review/approval by project leader and executes approved plans by performing routine and non-standard tasks or procedures of higher complexity.
•  Achieves project goals using technical, role-specific skills and experience, and introduces new procedures for new instrument methods, equipment changes, or new equipment.

About You and This Role:

As Sr Pilot Plant Technician, you will utilize process knowledge and operations expertise to safely and proficiently operate Gas Phase Catalyst pilot plant. The key deliverable is accurate process data that meets timelines to make decisions about commercial implementation of catalysts. You will perform operations related activities as per Master Task List, inputs from trial documents, and run sheets. You will correct process or equipment issues and coordinates pilot plant maintenance activities. This is a 24-hour operation, and you will be required the ability to work 12-hour shifts during the day and at night on a rotating basis.

• Applies technical proficiency to safely and efficiently operate equipment in assigned plant areas.
• Performs assigned tasks to ensure Master Task List completion (e.g. Field checks, equipment preparation, samples, etc.).

Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Senior LUH Maintenance Support Technician to join our team. You will be part of the team to perform detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft components and systems, maintenance or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components. Conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning of components and systems.  Diagnose malfunctions or failures and make adjustments, repairs or replacements of parts or components.

This position is located at various customer locations throughout the United States.  The assigned location changes per contract need.  Generally, the person filling the role will work 4 weeks at the customer site and then work 2 weeks from their home (although, this arrangement may vary due to maintenance schedule needs).  Additionally, the schedule is normally 4 ten hour days per week.

The hourly rate for this role is expected to be between $38 and $52 per hour depending on experience.

• Perform maintenance and inspections utilizing airframe and power plant (A&P) license outside of certified repair station (CRS).
• Perform advanced troubleshooting to diagnose malfunctioning systems and components to determine corrective action required to assure safety and airworthiness of aircraft.

• Diagnose and repair to specifications.
• Brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals. • Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Must have a minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience, completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment.
• A.S.E. certification in at least 3 (three) of A1-A8 is required. (New hires with external similar qualifications/certifications will have up to 2 years of employment to comply).
• Maintains Federal, State and Local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
