- Assist the Director in administering the Urology residency program by providing specialized technical and administrative support in the areas of accreditation, program requirements, and academic records.
- Provide guidance and assistance to the Director and Chief Resident in planning and developing continuing medical education (CME) programs in accordance with standards prescribed by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
- Create, update, maintain, and manage sensitive databases for the residency program to ensure accurate and timely information management.
- Use database software to enter, revise, sort, and retrieve data for training files system, historical training files, and for tracking results of resident board certifying examinations.
- Provide administrative and clerical support in the areas of timekeeping, annual budget, incoming mail or correspondence, financial records, purchase requests for automated equipment.
- Provide guidance and assistance on applicable procedures, instructions, and regulations to physicians and residents assigned to the service.
- Maintain a positive attitude and ability to prioritize and flex responsibilities to ensure Graduate Medical Education and Urology mission requirements are sustained.
