The role
As a Facilities Management Assistant you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. The person in this role will ensure all hard and soft FM queries are directed and actioned promptly in line with the in-house processes & procedures.
Day to day you'll use appropriate tools and equipment in a safe manner in order not to harm user or others, as well as:
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
- Report issues in an agreed prompt manner to the site supervisory team.
- Limit use of a computer for emails and to upload work, (training will be given)
- Carry out inspections on equipment to ensure it is serviceable and compliant.
- Help to maintain the buildings to current legislation and ensure a safe working environment.
This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Cranwell.
Essential experience of the Facilities Management Assistant:
- Basic DIY skills and in-depth understanding of maintenance procedures
- Problem-solving skills for addressing safety and maintenance concerns.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for giving instructions to contractors.
- Organisation, multi-tasking, and scheduling skills
- Full UK driving licence.
Qualifications for the Facilities Management Assistant:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
